Gamespot may have given this game a rent first attitude, but that is because this game may have came too soon.

User Rating: 7.5 | WCW vs. nWo: World Tour N64
Ahhh yes, wrestling in the nineties. Back then we weren't subjected to bastard son storylines or "Katie Vick" angles. We had awesome programs like the N.W.O, De-generation X and who could forget Austin vs McMahon. WCW vs. NWO World Tour expands on that (at least the NWO) where it lacks on the flash, it nails it with substance. World Tour has a wide array of characters, unfortunately half of them are not even reconizable, as they are from made up wrestling organizations and are given generic names such as "Ninja" and "Master". But I can compare the controls, which really shine in this game to the game skate, the harder the move would be to perform in real life, the harder it is to pull it off in real life. For instance, a punch is just as easy as pressing B, but to do a Asai Moonsault you have to enter as complicated button sequence. This adds whole new depth to the game. Unfortunately the career mode leaves alot to be desired. So this is either a boredom buster, or a great game to be play with friends.
