Best in the series, all you can want from a DW game
More characters, more weapons, more attacks and more enemies
The attack system has remained the same as the early DW series featuring your simple attack attack charge combos which opens up the oppertunities to use many different attacks unlike DW6 which now revolves around an unlimited hit system which is quite frankly dull
My only real complaint about Warriors Orochi is the new 'musou not charging in combat' feature which means you wont be able to fire out as many musous as before without first swapping character.
Controlling 3 people is very easy but not that useful as I found on easy mode you have no need to because it is just that...EASY and on chaos mode you wont even get a chance to swap because 2 hits and your worm food with a level 99 character...
Slow horses can also irritate you if you dont have the patience to find the characters that will raise your Cavalry ability
To summarise...
If you want the newest DW with improved gameplay but the same old magic of the DW series then look no further
If you want essentially a new type of DW where the characters have been completely altered and the attack system slowed down then go for DW6
