User Rating: 9 | Warriors Orochi 2 PS2
Warriors Orochi 2 is the best game of it's type and is so addicting. In this sequel there are a total of 94 characters to have a kick*** time playing with. There are loads of missions to lay your presence in, hacking and slashing your way to victory. Although it may be repetitive I really do not care that much obviously because I will never stop playing the Samurai and Dynasty series. Do not get me wrong it would be great; the right move to add more to the game play then just the square up to 7 times and pushing triangle along with R1 and circle. When there are friends to play with the strategy thinking is awesome, using the best tactics to put your enemies into submission. The enemies can be easy but once you try the hardest difficulty I advise your characters to be at least level 85 or higher. The block option does not do much so you got to attack and run constantly while in this difficulty.

Most of the characters are unique even though you input practically the same commands for each group of warriors. You really get a different feel with each warrior. There are types of warriors such as technique, power, and speed. The fighters all have 4th weapons, an added costume and 6 backgrounds(5 to unlock by gaining proficiency of course). The added abilities are as cool as always(that are attached to weapons and equipped to yourself). An added feature to this game is Vs where you can actually battle in a team/tag match. This mode is OK but really could have spent more time developing it and should have at least of had 5 arenas to battle in than just 1. When you play in the other modes such as tower 2 player can pick other fighters; this would be great in free mode!. In the new edition for Ps3 it is proven that they will do this, which is great. It is pretty whack having to be the same warriors as player 1 while on those massive battlefields, so that is awesome. This game also has dramatic mode where there are what-if battles where you must do certain achievements to unlock all dramatic missions. This requires you to basically gain 100% and by completing dramatic you unlock True Orochi. The characters are also pretty easy to unlock unlike the first Orochi which required you to do much more. Note: They really need to give this game an Online feature!!

Positive: addictive fun, loads of awesome warriors(most are unique), much customization, loads of content to unlock, superb battlefields/missions, the story is decent, the new warriors are worthy(especially Minamoto) great strategy/battle plans that can be executed by you and your friends, fantastic moves/abilities.

Negative: very repetitive(need more of a mixture of button commands), graphics need to get better, better blocking, extremely frustrating at times on toughest difficulty because you can get pinned down in an enemy crowd which is sometimes hard to escape(you end up dieing and must start over), Vs is alright but could have been much better.

Overall I give this game a 9; I love this game to death..for real. Pick it up and give it a try you may not be disappointed. Thanks
