"The Emperor Protects" (Spoilers Alert)

User Rating: 8 | Warhammer 40,000: Inquisitor - Martyr PS4

Right off the bat I have to praise the guys at Neocore Games, the sandbox style of gameplay was a new and pleasant welcome to Warhammer 40k Games and I really enjoyed it. But unfortunately it also felt like a grind and repetitive at times, like having to face the same kind of enemies. But this only happened a small amount of times. The Combat in this game was truly fantastic and in my opinion as a fan true to the Warhammer 40k Universe, I really enjoyed the Cinematic scenes you gained when finishing off a Arch-Boss e.g. a Chaos Dreadnought. I also liked the fact you could earn the skills you wanted by simply playing your style of combat e.g. with me I use a Bolter and close in switching to my Power sword and Shield.

But again because there are only a few cinematic kills, this also fells a bit repetitive and takes a small of the immersion out of the game. But apart from that this game grips you and pulls you in with it's story and makes you feel like an Inquisitor of the Ordo Malleus and truly immerses you into the Dark Universe of the Warhammer 40k, 'Where there is only War'.

I have to give praise to the Art & Graphics team of Neocore Games for the amazing and beautiful Gothic and dark look they made and presented in this game with the scenery and character designs, it really took my breath away and at times I would just admire where I was. Truly Amazing.

I really enjoyed this game and I am glad to give it 8 out of 10 and I would recommend any fan of Warhammer 40k to play it, trust me you won't be disappointed.
