Think if Company of Heroes and Warcraft 3 had a child, they would call it Dawn of War!

User Rating: 10 | Warhammer 40,000: Dawn of War II - Gold Edition PC
Pros:
-Easy to understand basic controls.
-Fantastic graphics for a strategy game.
-It has a performance test included so you don't have to keep looking to see if it frames or not.
-It has a great story line, similar to Warcraft 3.
-It is now in Gold Edition so you get Dawn of War 2 and Chaos Rising.
-$15 at Gamestop for the Gold Edition
-No micromanaging of settlements, no citizens to make houses, and collect gold, boy that is a plus.

Cons:
-Load times are a killer.
-I have been told but I have not been able to confirm that the system requirements are much more demanding then what is written on the box.
-The game requires Steam and Windows Live, what a beast.
-The install process . . . just walk away and do something else after you enter you activation number.

Conclusion:
As you can see the cons are really directed towards non game play issues. The game itself is great, but thing like Windows Live and Steam required!? Seriously!? You expect me to create two accounts? I am a gamer so I already had those account, but I feel sorry for someone who doesn't because you just want to play the game. Believe me, it is worth the work though. You get your squads of different unit that are valuable in different ways, and it all just comes together like a masterpiece when you play it.
