Great improvement on the Mount & Blade premise.

Very good graphics, both in the environment and the characterization. It's strongest link is clearly archer. You have to love the way it was designed and concieved. From the aiming (crosshair) to the power of the draw, it's just amazing. The melee still needs some tweaking but can also be imensively fun. So far, I've only seen three downsides.

1. The Cavalry. The mechanics and movement are just wrong and look weird.

2. The other one is the server hoster they chose to partner up with. Multiplay is just awful, very expensive and can't even handle 64 player server (300 ping when servers have more than 40 players in-game).

3. Finally the squad spawning feature simply doesn't work. Either implement an option to limit/exclude from a server or get rid of it completely.



That said, this game is definitely worth the price of 30€. Every downside I mentioned can and will be dealt with (as stated by the developers) in no time as the solutions (except for the cavalry seem to be clear to me anyway).
