Finely, a movie game that can actually be called 'good quality'. Though the game is simple and easy, the graphics are good and there is a good variety. Wall-e is more aimed at kids rather than teenagers or older people, but it's interesting gameplay and accessibility makes this game worth for anyone to give it a try.

Wall-e takes off with a training session which you will learn the basic commands. These are pretty easy. Gameplay consists of using laser, jumping, transform in a box and throw boxes. The main purpose in the game is to complete short and easy levels and move on. There are normally cutscenes after easy level, which are pretty good. Mission design is noting special. You either need to collect blue things to open a door or ump your way through things. Though the level design is surprisingly good. Graphics are impressive and cutscenes are remarkable. Wall-e is straightforward game. There is almost no strategy or thinking. The levels Wall-e will be in are small and you can complete it in a couple of minutes. Still they are interesting and fun, really for kids. Controls are simple and camera is no pain. There is no real thread in the game. To recover health you just have to go where the sun beam is and Wall-e will use the solar panel to recover energy. The get laser you either have to destroy boxes or use the machine. Well discovering this can be a great experience.

Though I think the level of challenge is perfect for this game. I mean if the game was harder it wouldn't be fun. Gameplay is still simplistic and older people might find this repetitive and bland platformer. That's why this game is aimed at kids. You might also find the game not exciting, and I agree. There is really nothing to do. Music might get on your nerves. It probably from the movie but I didn't watch the movie and the game's music gave me a headache. The one after the level saying that you completed a level is really annoying.

Wall-e is a simple, charming and sometimes clever game. Aimed at kids, this is one of the best movie games of the year, and one of the best games for kids to come out on the PS2. Though the PS2 era is gonna end soon, there are still some good games releasing, PS2 era is gonna end good. Don't judge the game from it's appearance, Wall-e is a great example of how movie games should be.
