A brilliant twist on 2D platforming is both challenging and rewarding.

Leave it to indie game developers to make a game that is simple yet challenging, fun, and unique.

Gameplay: 4/5
+ This game is wonderful. The basic concept of this game reinvents the jumping aspect of platformers. Instead of jumping in a parabola as if you were subjected to Earth's gravity, your "action button" actually makes you flip upside down. This is somewhat hard to get familiar with if you are so used to regular platformer jumping. Still, once you get the hang of it and understand how the level design works it really isn't that bad. Still, there are some really hard challenge rooms even after you think you've got a firm grasp of the controls. The game keeps track of the total number of deaths you've encountered and by the end you should easily have anywhere between 500 to 1,000 or even more. Though it can grow very frustrating it never seems impossible and it's so quick and easy to try again after a death. The only minor annoyances are the collision detection (which can really be unfair at times. I'm talking a distinct gap between your character and the hazard) and the fact that when you run and jump sometimes you slide when coming to a stop. The latter is just something you have to learn how to adapt, to however.

Story/Presentation: 4/5
+ The story is fine. It's not really deep, but I wouldn't expect it to be. There's still enough to sustain the game. The other appealing thing are the characters which seem to have a natural charm to them perhaps because they are only a collection of pixels, or perhaps their sad face is hilarious.

Graphics: 3/5
+ Just a bunch of pixels. But...this proves that graphics don't make a good game. This game is still incredible even if the graphics are very simple. Sure the graphics could have been better, but I think the game would have lost some of its signature if that were the case.

Value: 4/5
+ You can probably finish the game in around 2 hours. If you try to get all the trinkets that can go up to 3 hours. If you even want to extend your time playing this game there are bonus rounds and trophies after you've completed everything else. This game is inexpensive but definitely worth the money.
