Best portable tennis ever!!!

User Rating: 8.3 | Virtua Tennis: World Tour PSP
Alright, alright. Before I begin, all Mario fanboys please leave. Now we can start this review.

I love this game. There is so many great things about this game that warrent not only a rental, but even a purchase!!!

PROS -

Nearly identical to Sega Sports Tennis 2K2 for the Dreamcast and PS2.

Great control

Simple to learn, challenging to master

Decent array of mini games

Good variety of Tennis players

Variety of gameplay types

Low price tag of $19.99 NEW (as of June 2006)

CONS -

Nearly identical to Sega Sports Tennis 2K2 for the Dreamcast and PS2.

the load times seem to drag a bit, especially during Career mode

Graphics not that impressive (look the same as the original Virtua Tennis)

Bizarre, yet rare, slowdown with custom tennis players in certain matches that were not present on the original Dreamcast version.

At first I almost sold this game back to the store when I first bought it. But after playing it for a while, I decited to keep it. And I don't regret my decision.

BOTTOM LINE -

If you don't mind playing a sugar-coated version of Tennis 2K2, then this game is for you!
