Virtua Tennis 3 rocks my tennis balls. After playing this game everyday for most of my freshman year in college, I have to say that this is one of the most splendid tennis games out there. The graphics are beautiful and they really fit with the gameplay. The controls are smooth from the moment you pick it up and are very easy to learn. The World Tour feature will keep you playing for hours, even after you have reached number 1. The online play is small, meaning there aren't a lot of players online, but the gameplay online is amazing. The dialogue that appears in the game is quite cheesy and are misspelled. It does make for some fun jokes. The music that plays in the background really keeps the game fresh and prevents it from getting boring when you are playing a long game.
Overall, there aren't many bad things about this game. Sure there can be some hiccups with the smash points now and then, and it doesn't stick to realism as much as topspin, but it promises fun for every type of player.
