When you get to 1st dan, it gets super hard near to impossible, and changing the difficulty doesn't help much.

For this game, I was ready to master whatever needed to be mastered in order to eventually become a pro, I knew this would be a tough game, but THIS hard? It is ideal to be played with a friend but playing solo Kumite against an AI will become really frustrating when you get to first dan. I'm stuck there and not getting anything but demotions now. Difficulty on Very Easy is nowhere close to easy. I can only have nightmares of harder settings. I don't have uber fast flash reflexes! I wonder why the reviewers said DMC3 was really hard when I found it pretty easy from the beginning actually, and that this game offers just the right challenge? I guess you should devote your life to complete kumite.
