Vigilante.....Can you get any older. Having said that beating people up is fun.

I remember back in the day when games like double dragon, golden axe and streets of rage where indeed all the rage....So much fun to be had beating the crap out of people who would dare try and take your girlfriend away from you just because they can.

Back in them days you would not call the police...Heck in some cases the mayor himself may well jump in on the rescue mission (final fight). So there you are either on your own or with the help of a friend trying to beat up and maim anyone who dares get in your way. Also along the way weapons and food will be found to help you get the job done....

Having said that who on earth eats food that they found from destroyed trash can????? I mean realy your trying to save your GF and your to cheap to buy your own food?

So realy all these games have the same theme running through them..There would be stages and boss fights in some case you would fight all over the place and in others you would not even be on earth at all (battletoads).

The key is the goal and in most of these the goal is the same and that is to save the day by saving the girl.

Vigilante is just like all these games but in most respects it does not get it right or other games just do it better. At the end of the day there are so many of these types of games out there that you should not realy look at this game.
