Where is Xur and What is He Selling - January 21, 2022

Head to Nessus, to the Watcher's Grave area, to find Xur this week. For his weapon, Xur is offering the Telesto fusion rifle. Hunters can pick up the ST0MP-EE5 leg armor; for Titans, there's the Wormgod Caress gauntlets; and for Warlocks, Xur has the Phoenix Protocol chest armor.

Once again, Xur has some excellent Exotic armors that everyone should grab. Both the ST0MP-EE5 and Phoenix Protocol he's offering offer better-than-average stat rolls for Xur's inventory, at 66 and 67, respectively, and both Exotics are go-tos for their classes. Wormgod Caress is less of a blowout stat-wise, but any Titans who don't have this Exotic should pick it up--it is often part of builds that allow Titans to rip through high-level content by themselves, so much so that it has been disabled by Bungie on more than one occasion.

For Legendary weapons, Xur's inventory has no major standouts, but there are a couple of guns that might be worth your attention. The Wishbringer shotgun is a reliable full-auto for PvP thanks to its Range Masterwork and Snapshot Sights, and Pulse Monitor perks. Also solid is the Stars in Shadow pulse rifle, which saw quite a bit of use in the Crucible earlier this season. It offers Headseeker and Outlaw for better precision kills and fast reloads, plus a Range Masterwork to hit enemies from further away in both PvE and PvP.

Xur's Legendary armor is worth a look if you missed it back in the Season of Opulence. The Opulent armor sets haven't been in the game since Destiny 2's second year, so if you're missing it in your collections, this is a great time to snag it. Hunters have little to be excited about, stat-wise, however. Warlocks fare a little better, with a few 62-63 items that can fill out your loadout if you need them. For Titans, it's all pretty middling, so it's best to only grab these armor pieces if you need to add them to your collection for transmogrification.
