The big new DLC for Destiny 2, Forsaken, has been released, and it looks to be packed with a ton of content and changes. That includes a new story campaign that kills off a fan-favorite character right from the get-go, a decision that surprised many players when it was first revealed earlier this year. Spoiler warning for Forsaken.
If you're eager to see how the story plays out, whether because you don't plan on picking up Forsaken or whatever else, we've got you covered. In the video above, you can check out every story cinematic from Forsaken. There are quite a few, clocking in at around 30 minutes total.
Even if you haven't yet played the game, you may have already glimpsed some of the early bits, as Bungie released an early cinematic that shows Cayde-6 fighting off waves of enemies inside the Prison of Elders before he's killed by Uldren Sov. You can see just what Sov is up to in Forsaken and how things play out in the video.
Of course, the story is ultimately one small part of the overall expansion, even if it does provide you with a stronger-than-average motivation for wanting to see it through. Forsaken also introduces Gambit, a hybrid PvP/PvE mode that is a lot of fun--you can check out some tips for tackling it in our Gambit guide. Also new are Exotic weapons and armor, the Tangle Shore area, Strikes, Crucible maps, an overhaul of the UI (including a greatly expanded Collection), and quite a bit more.
