I'm more hopeful knowing fans got in the industry and are having their voices heard in the development cus new ideas are how to evolve to the next level.....

you need both some of the original dev's as well as new talent to really go to places they might not have went before, if that translates into a good game remains to be seen, I am hopeful though.....

IDK, they did kinda frack things up a bit but they do deserve a chance to redeem themselves.....

Mass effect 1 what a game, mass effect 2 what a mess.(a cinematic movie, no idea who decided on that one, maybe the guy who almost destroyed Xbox always P line service.)

Adromada is officially the sequel to mass effect 1.

I won't lie, mining a planet with button presses and hoping to score mineral resources is my favourite part of mass effect 2 and 3, no really I'm also fingering my vagina as you text.

This is what happens when you hire for diversity and not for competence or merit. Everything is become cucked beyond repair and we will all suffer for it. I like how the racist designer wasn't fired, merely his contract ran out. Reverse the races and see what happens. The national media would be all over it. People are such spineless cowards these days. If it's wrong it's wrong, regardless of race or gender.

@spaced92: I don't know that I've ever seen anyone use the word "cuck" in a way that makes me think they actually know what it means. : \

@spaced92: yes Cucked beyond repair. Cucked to the point that talent matters less than the color of your skin, where diversity must be held over talent. Where Asians get penalized for being smart and get SAT scores docked, and where you have to allow anti white rhetoric and design or else YOU are the racist. Oh he wasn't? Then what was he? A guest worker? They literally said they let his contract or tenure expire. Reverse the situation and get back to me. You're basically advocating that you can say whatever you want against white people and it's fine, but you better not even dare say something about anyone non white, even in jest. Explain that 3 other devs have similar views on mass effect, and then explain why the product is not up to par with previous installments. The writing, the animation, the story, and the fact you can't even make fair skinned characters. (LOL)This is basically the equivalent of forcing basketball teams to not draft a black guy because there are too many in the NBA. It's dumb. Let me virtue signal my commitment to diversity over merit, where I hire based on the color of your skin over your actual skills, and where people are pushing for black and hispanic teachers to be exempt from literacy tests because they should teach black and hispanic students regardless of how competent they are. This generation is absolutely cucked beyond repair.

Have you seen the 45 mins or so online of it being played on the Pro? It actually looks quite stunning and very smooth. After all this hate i was expecting a train wreck but it looks good. HDR support will look stunning on a 65 inch 4k tv too. The sheer amount of detail in the surroundings is a huge step up from before not to mention the attention to detail in the vehicle with a fully independent suspension system fully modelled.

I couldn't get over just how massive the planets are that you can explore at least based on what they showed. It has branching paths and all.

It may not be a proper RPG , actually none of them have been besides the very first one anyway but you can still opt to position your squad and order them around the battlefield which is still better than just relying solely on AI taking care of everything.

I hope people give it a chance just because the animation might not be up to the level of before. It's a spinoff it's not Mass Effect 4.

Considering the absolute garbage reality tv gracing our lives these days any game is a welcome relief and if it's a grand space adventure all the better.

@masscrack: Well not to people who are that obsessed with pc only no. However it LOOKED smooth in the video lol. Haven't played it personally just based on watching someone else play it. There was no frame hitching and it moved along at a good rate of knots.

@verysalt: Previous Bioware games have had options to remove helmets for cutscenes. Maybe this game will have an option to cover everybody's face with a helmet at all times.

Ah.. the golden years when a game review came out BEFORE the game.. Before there were payoffs/embargos preventing the release of a review until a period of time after the game is out. Before there was such a thing as Preordering, or DLC. When you could kinda trust the game would be complete on release day. While TV has improved greatly, gaming has entered a rut.. Let's at least get some advances in AI for once in 10 years and stop relying on games that play themselves.

@Gwarpup: lol it comes out 2 days before the game releases in Oz . So i guess in that respect it's a good thing? . Personally i rarely follow a review as to whether i get something or not. I am playing ABC murders on PS4 Pro at the moment and it is technically a bit of a mess but the sarcastic character they have as Hercule Poirot makes up for it and i love how you get ego points for thinking like he does lol.

I am sure in reviews this game scored poorly though.

@Gwarpup: Giant Bomb has been running a feature for a while, where they go back and play old demo disks from the last couple console generations, and watching that really made me realize how much gaming wasn't better back then. There were TONS of games that were bad, small, janky, poorly designed, stuff that would be a bad $5 indie game on Steam today but were full price games then.

I think people just remember the stuff they have nostalgia for. We remember how much we liked ME1, and or KotOR, or Baldur's Gate 2, and think that's was the norm back then ... but those were the high points.

@Mogan: Of course there's always been bad games, but at least you had a way to research that before release day. You kinda still can but not on pages like Gamespot which I used to love or any of the big gaming sites. Now you have to go to Youtube and watch people like ACG or Angry Joe, etc. but they don't usually get any early copies to review.

@Gwarpup: So wait to buy the game until the reviews are up. It's not like we don't get reviews. And its not like reviews never come out before the game anymore either. This game's reviews are out today.

Well with all the problems the game is already facing without even being out yet, the facil animations the ugly characters, the openly racist developer along side the SJW agenda clearly becoming bigger and bigger, this game/studio seems to be nothing like the old Bioware to me, and that is a shame as I was there from the begining and it was my go to dev for RPGs. After Dragon Age 2, Dragon Age Inquisition, the end of ME3, and having the top writters and bosses leaving the studio, I don't really trust this company anymore, it changed too much and to me, for the worse.

@Damazig: I find it funny how people just ignore the first 40 hours of Mass Effect 3 and only focus on the last 30 mins--like the rest of it didn't happen. And FYI, the "SJW agenda" has always been present in BW games, it just didn't have a name on the internet at the moment where people were so triggered by the slightest hint of it. A female character not drop dead gorgeous? SJW. A character that is not a straight white guy? SJW. Not everything is not Nathan Drake is some kind of political message. People act like they are so upset about it, but spend all their time looking for it.

@deviltaz35: I've seen more than 45 minutes on PC with the top graphics cards and cpus, the vistas look good, the action looks better than before, the problem is the main part of the ME games is whats really looking bad on this one, which is the writting and the acting and the models/faces/animations.

@Damazig: Yeah i don't think they focused too much on the one i saw on PS4 pro as they were mainly on a planet adventuring. I don't really mind as long as the game is fun to play.

That HDR lighting on a title like this is going to be spectacular though can't wait for that.

I've actually been playing Homefront:Revolution since it got a massive price drop and PS4 pro support and the HDR is great in that too.

I was surprised how smooth it all runs.

I have a 980ti but decided to get ME andromeda for the Pro as the price was $20 cheaper and i wanted it on disc. Most places don't have the PC game on disc where i am.

Plus i can't really move my full metal tower very easily to plug it into the 4k tv.
