The PSP 1000 was a piece of shit! Totally agree with you there. That huge hunk of junk with only 15 good games throughout it's whole life cycle. What a waste...

The PS Vita is technically great (much better than the damn psp), but it lacks original games that aren't ports.

i bought one on launch but hardly ever use it. haven't seen it for over 12 months. i ran out of storage space and couldn't be bothered to spend loads on a new card. plus the games are mostly dull. but it is a lovely piece of kit. i need to figure out where the hell i left it and think about giving it some more air time.

I think you should not buy a vita for Indie games you can play on any mobile device or console. Buy a vita for vita games, psp, and ps1 games. Hopefully it picks up steam over the next year

Great vid, however, my opinion about the PSP differs quite a lot. For me personally the PSP has been the best handheld I've ever Owned. Games like crisis core FFVII, FF tactics, the god of war games, Tactics Ogre et al made this system essential for me as a gamer.

Oh, on the Vita, yes, it's an amazing piece of hardware. Coupled with PS+, it'a great value.

it funny how people think so okay console doesn't have many games that automatically makes the system crappy. the VITA is an incredible piece of hard ware and those comparing the VITA to SMART PHONE & I PAD in terms of gaming experience need to shut hell up. the problem with the VITA is the lack of games which i think is due to the price of the device which makes demands low hence no developer will not risky money on a platform that isn't selling much.

I Usually love his videos ,but not this one. The PSP did great and was great to most people and the Vita is doing ok as well. Seems he has a personal problem with Sony handhelds.

I wasn't to hot about the Vita when it launched either, but over the months I got some pretty good games from my PS3 PS Plus subscription and I thought... "What the heck?, I will get one and just play all the free games I already have and maybe more game will come along." Boy was I right. I now play more with my Vita than my PS3. I love the sleep function, you can stop for whatever reason you need to, you can even pause games that don't pause (Dragon's Crown for instance). I love how the newer games look like PS3 games. I love the dual sticks. Yeah memory card price is a bitch but damn this device screams gaming from the moment you turn it on. Seriously you can't go wrong with the PS Vita. Oh and remote play works like a charm, not like with the PSP.

The PSP is a great handheld system I play games on it still and will for years to come, Danny is entitled to his opinion but I don't agree with him about most of the points he made. As for the Vita I agreed with most of the points he made, except I never had any problem inserting the charger properly.

The PSP was my favorite handheld of last gen. I still play games on it. And contrary to what Danny said, it has hundreds of awesome and exclusive games.

Day one purchase unfortunatley the games offering is just dire, majority are ports, very few (good) Vita made games and only supported by the indies....... honestly my Vita is a porche that runs like a mini! ffs!

MAN SAME OLD TITLES WITH NEW GRAPHICS REVOLUTION MADE ME SICK TO MY TUMMY ! SO I DECIDED TO CHANGE MY MOOD BY GOING BACK TO THE 1980;S AND PLAYING ALL THE CLASSIC VINTAGE WHICH I MISSED BELIEVE ME THAT REALLY WORKED ....
