The Point - Fallout 4: Secrets of the New Apocalypse

this game has been in development for so long that at one point bathesda likely assumed it would also find its way to the ps3/360. due to the astonishing sales of the ps4, they figured they should focus on next gen platforms only. this has me to believe that the game looks as underwhelming as it does, from a visual standpoint, due to this original intention of being ported onto the older consoles which impacted their aspirations regarding the graphics engine. now we are left with a current gen game that doesn't look nearly as good as it should. for all we know the gameplay will be great and live up to the other games in the series, but the first trailer didn't exactly leave much of a first impression when visuals is all you have to go on.

@Metallicwolf29: I agree with you. But I think it's strange to post it here, this was actually a decent video, IMO.

I'm with you though, I'd take the GS of 10 years ago over this one any day. It's easy to say "well go away then", but that's the problem, there really isn't a decent gaming site that doesn't turn into a clusterf*** mess. IGN is certainly no better.

@Metallicwolf29: I don't blame you, I am of the same feeling right now too and am on the tipping point of leaving the site to find something anew. GS has gone downhill, it has lost it's sense of humour, I don't like the new comments section, the video player is terrible (and has been for a good while now) and the sense of community has long gone from the site; after checking the news of the day the forums were the place to go to find like minded gamers or chat to friends, you could read peoples blogs but no-one wants to put them up on site anymore it seems.

I think last time I commented was when gamespot gave a low score to Last of us. I been hanging out more on IGN .

I was really impressed with this video and Danny presentation.. Good job. I will come back more to Gamespot due to this. (PS still mad at gamespot First review of last of us and the way they handled the backlash)

I think they should delay the game to improve the graphics...mainly the character models and some of the low resolution environment textures that they have shown us so far. I know everyone gets their panties twisted when someone mentions graphics being important but to me they are, and a game shouldn't look on par with it's predecessor that came out almost 8 years earlier. This is especially true when they said the game won't run on PS3 and X360...they need to take advantage of newer tech, the only excuse for this is being cheap.

So what if some small brained individuals end up not playing Fallout 4 because of the graphics? I'll be buying it day one. Back to the witcher 3 now.

Another brilliant episode Danneh. I really hope they start introducing some native american aspects into this game. Would love to take on a deathclaw with a tomahawk.

Hopefully this will save 2015 along with GTA V on PC.
