According to Xbox Studios head Matt Booty, Microsoft sees The Outer Worlds as an exclusive franchise. The game is being published by Private Division under the Take-Two umbrella, which is why it's also headed to PC, Xbox One, PS4, and Nintendo Switch. But any potential sequels could be Microsoft exclusives.
