The only thing I like about Starcraft II is the story. Be nice to see it have a happy conclusion.
Down with Acti-Blizzard!
The RTS market has suffered a lot from SC2. Only a few titles still offer the "strategy" component.
The games with more strategy and tactics in them but requiring little APM confuse the hell out of my SC2 friends.
You can argue that SC2 is a game where you need to get better APM to even be able to start using tactics but honestly we can all see how the strategy in this game has become stagnant.
Which is what happens you start simplifying game mechanics and dumbing the game down so the masses can play. Which is the current trend for games. Good business model, not so great for intelligent "gamers".
WC3 will always remain Blizzards greatest RTS (and the GOAT IMO) until they release a new warcraft game that does justice to its predecessor. Until then,these clowns may suck on their watered down POS of a game and not get a fucking cent from me.
@Chuck Renninger Are you kidding me? LOL WC3 has wayyyyyy more mechanics than this POS of a borefest.
Most evil dev's in the world = EA & Acti-Blizzard
Most holy dev's in the world = Valve & CDProjekt RED
@digishah Valve has released some truly amazing games. They dont put many games out but the ones they do release are always rated at least 9. Left for Dead, Half Life 2, TF2, and CS. Just a few examples of top rated games. They have not released anything in a while though. I dont count the remake of CS. Portal 2 is the newest but that's it. I wish they would make more games.
I remember back in 2010 they said it is going to be a trilogy. So the next episode fo this trilogy is due to 2016? With no major changes in the engine and game mechanics itself they could be making 5$ episodes weekly. I'd even get season pass
@Chuck Renninger if you put it this way any RTS is warcraft with something. And Mass Effect is not scary version of Resident evil with spaceships
These days games offer brief entertainment for a relitvely high price. Tomb raider..boom 8 hours and it's done. Chrysis 3.. boom done quickly. DLC story continuations are common for an extra 4 hours of entertainment. Sc2 and HOS make me want to go back and play again and again;there is replay value from multiplayer. Fine by me if they want to make some cash with HOS(a game that has most foundation laid) as long as they keep the servers going.
@Spankyspanky HotS is an expension pack, wich by definition, has most of it's core already laid...but that's also why they're not selling it 59.99$, but 39.99$ it's a bigger add on then a DLC is (usually 1-2hrs max) but it's still only improving a game, wich is why it's cheaper then the whole game...
"kina" ..."kina"...guess that's his favorite word..whoever that guy is...
Is that an Xbox graveyard to the left in the background?
If he progressed to "harder" vs AI there is no way he is bronze league 1v1. Also, after having watch MLG Terran is an OP race with their drop ships. The mines are actually a very useful unit and 40 second cool down is just a lie. Dropping them in front of your base and in between you and your opponents base can slow them down a lot and do significant damage to them. Tempest = Air Colossus, Oracle = good harass unit and Zerg is fairly unchanged.
I don't like how blizzard has tried to make out these expansions are new games. They are not! the base of the game is exactly the same. What you pay for is a new campaign and a few new units. I enjoyed the game and the single player is good. Just don't expect it to add too much to what you saw in WoL.

Where is the review .? The game is received very well and getting 8.5s , 10s , 9s , A+ , 9.5s , 4.5/10 , 5/5 and so on . Waiting for Gamespot review .
@Cloud_imperium Giantbomb gave it 5/5 stars
Gametrailer reviews :
God of war 8.3
Gears of War 8.1
Starcraft 2 Heart of the swarm 8.5
@Cloud_imperium Whatever the score is people are going to complain. Be ready for another feedbackula!
@zeusbark @Cloud_imperium I don't care about people . People always complain . I am loving the campaign so far . Don't mind even if it gets lower score .
@zeusbark @Cloud_imperium haha, from what I can tell, people rage more on critical reviews than lenient ones. I'm hoping GS scores it a 5/10 or worse just to see the nerd raging backlash.
@ELMuurrrrrr MY NAMES ELMISH
Hi, I just wanted to write that Acti-Blizzard will never see another $ of mine again.
have a nice day!
@petez34 Maybe if they finally release Warcraft 4 someday and it stays true to how awesome Warcraft 3 is,otherwise yep,Im right behind you,never giving these losers a cent anymore.
@petez34 Yes, and they won't see an € from me. :)
@petez34 me too
@petez34 What will you buy then that greedy publishers won't benefit from? Blizzard is the lesser evil.
@Sardinar Blizzard is the lesser evil? Riiight! You keep telling yourself that lie, not me!
@petez34 @Sardinar I guess you won't be buying any games in the coming future, with that paranoid attitude.
For me Starcraft is only singleplayer.....games for me are only for fun, For competitive part game need to be mastered and for this i simply dont have time or desire...
Always games fo rme were like a toys, for fun, I do nottreatmytoysseriously, c'mon this is only toys :p
@belgard1299 Toys with the addition of skill is closer to sports than a barbie doll. Comparing gaming to a toy is simply just not accurate. You play a game like you play sports (much more accurate comparison); even a couch potato can be a super star in gaming.
That's the problem with Starcraft 2. At WoL launch, I immediately bought the game and Diamond my way on 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, 4v,4. After that they brought the Master Leagues where apm and experience is more important than actual strategy or tactics. And that was a deal breaker. You see, I knew exactly what strategy and tactic to do to beat my opponents. And I would gladly lose few games to gain the necessary experience. But when you watch a replay of a game you lost to see why and learn from it, and discover that you lost because your opponent is even faster than the CPU of your PC, well, that's when you go, "no need to play anymore or try to reach the highest league. I just can't." So for HoS, I will borrow my friend's account for the main story, and will watch the GSL to just watch the pros.
@nomailx The point of playing any game is to have fun, not to struggle to remain in some league.
@miser_cz @nomailx Wrongest statement ever. You don't play the same game with the same build orders over and over just for "fun". Games by default bring a sense of accomplishment. Maybe you heard something called "sports" or "gambling", "pro gaming". Even Marios, Legos, have a challenge in game. Nothing in Game is for "fun". The only fun you have is what you ego told you you had. Why do you think you keep gathering all the yellow coins in games, or play Starcraft against an opponent? Sleep over this, you'll wake up brighter tomorrow. Enjoy.
@nomailx @miser_cz I understand what your getting at -- but what your missing is that different people have different ways of having fun (i know shocking right?). Some have fun getting challenged, some by feeding their egos, on the other hand there are other who just enjoy the story-- the list is infinite. Ironically, that is what the very title of this video is implying. And you seem to have missed it.
@nomailx @miser_cz If there is anybody who should wake up it is one little kid who cannot comprehend there are people who can enjoy game even without defeating their opponents, or breaking record in picked up gold coins.
Collector's Edition is not worth it :(
@PacoTaco When is it ever worth it?
first Blizz game i haven't bought on release.
I cannot imagine this DLC to cost more than £14.99.
@Karmazyn its an expansion not dlc
@Albelnox0 @Karmazyn lol 'an expansion'
TFT for warcraft 3 was so much more. They added taverns to all maps which added almost 10 new heroes. New shops/ and a ton of new items . Some maps had docks so you can purchase boats. New maps/units/ and heroes for each races were all unique and awesome. Oh and,so was the campaign. There was also a side campaign where you play as the beastmaster and its like a small RPG which is almost as big as the campaign itself.
What are you paying for here? 2 new units per faction and a new campaign??? The fact this game has only 3 factions which is about 6 new units for the whole game is also a joke.
no matter how much they milk this pos with expansion packs it will never come close to being as good as warcraft 3.Keep giving these losers who has nothing but failed since WoW your money,theyll keep releasing those awesome watered down fake 'expansion packs' ROFL
Bah, not excited the least, not even considering it for purchase.
Blizzard made too many mistakes with Diablo 3, for me to consider giving them any more money for their products.
@erMonezza That's some very shallow thinking.
@Sardinar @erMonezza Diablo 3 was bad because of design choices . Not because effort wasn't there , the game had same production values as rest of their games . People who created Diablo 2 work in Runic games now , who made Torhlight 2 .
@erMonezza Agreed to that.
Same SC as all previous ones Blizzard brings nothing new here. If you played any others this is not worth buying, ask some of your friends for an account to play SP campaign.
