i want to see the game not the controller morons!
Wow! It looks pretty good! I'm surprised how nice this looks. I'm looking forward to launch day!
This game looks like fun, can't wait to play it. I'm excited about this and Xenoblade; that doesn't clean my hatred towards Nintendo after that "Metroid" game. :(
People bashing it because of its graphics: go play a mission again 40 times on Halo, er, Destiny and stfu.
Looks way better than I thought and true to Star Fox roots.

Game looks incredibly weak.
Like a $10 Early Access on Steam from some uknown company consisting of 2 students working part-time weak!
Does he drive in the one direction the whole time because I could only watch about 1 minute of it before the video player pooped itself?
It's loyal to Starfox 64 and it's actually what I want the game to be. I like it.
Looks like a Gamecube game, but plays pretty decent. Going to wait for reviews.
Well, definitely looks like a Star Fox game. I bet it will be decent enough.
What y'all talking about bad graphics, this is not bad graphics at all, now I seen more of star fox zero it's looking really good, I say this, this game will beat some of ps4 and Xbox game, this game looks fun, wii u is still good system, now Nintendo NX is coming soon I heard good things there going to do, stop hating on Nintendo, Nintendo always gives the best game, this is coming own X1 and ps, it's time buy Nintendo
This video confirmed something that had kept me on the fence. I initially thought motion controls were the only way to play the game, but this video showed gameplay that didn't use them, so I am sold.
great ps2 visuals.
Twilight princess on gamecube looks better than this game. Side note; every person who you shake hands with, man or woman, has had a dick in that hand at one point or another.
@Trev786: Have you gone back and played it recently? Without HD, Twilight Princess looks blurry as all hell.
I can't watch this video (especially the build up to the sand worm) and not wonder if Starfox is still fun anymore. Maybe its been on hiatus for too long but it seems to be lacking something.
The graphics are toned down a bit because the Wii U has to render 2 cameras, one on the TV and one on the gamepad which requires more processing power. It still looks like a great game.
@ballashotcaller: An intelligent person commenting on Gamespot!?! I must be dreaming.
pretty loyal to the N64 Star Fox game.
Looks like it is coming along a lot better than expected and will continue to improve.
next im not under 12 years old
@DustbusterGF: “Critics who treat 'adult' as a term of approval, instead of as a merely descriptive term, cannot be adult themselves. To be concerned about being grown up, to admire the grown up because it is grown up, to blush at the suspicion of being childish; these things are the marks of childhood and adolescence." -C.S. Lewis
You just let your immaturity show in your comment. Better cover that up.
This goes out to all my ******* in da struggle...o_0
Ya, I'm not feeling S-Fo. They could have made it nice and colorful.
I think this game looks awesome, however if the only way to aim is by moving the gamepad around then I don't know. It just looks so uncomfortable to be moving the gamepad around all the time, can't really sit down in the couch and relax while playing it.
Guess I'll wait and see what people and reviewers think about it.
@granskjegg: This video showed just that, he wasn't controlling it by moving it around, motion controls were turned off in this video.
@Poodger: I dunno, that gamepad looked pretty mobile to me.
Seemed like they were aiming side to side using the sticks, but when they were aiming at something above, that gamepad goes nuts. Look at 1:23 for example.
And at 2:15 it seems like they're not using the sticks to aim at all.
But it does seem like they're using the joysticks here and there, so it's probably an option to turn gyro off.
@granskjegg: You can turn off the Gyro controls if you want.
@mesome713: That's really nice to hear, I'm suddenly way more interested in the game now. Wonder if it has Pro controller support as well.
Thanks for the info!
@granskjegg: So far we have no word, but its rumored to have 2 player mode with one player playing off screen on the Gamepad. They might scrap this mode depending on how everything comes along. But yeah, it would be a nice little bonus to see it in there.
Looks like a really fun game.

That looks terrible.
Dat collision detection
Im so impressed to see wii u do that doubleduty with two screens showing of gamegraphics and still look that good! Its like insane actually. I thought zombie u had to have low quality grafx because of just that fact that ingam can be shown at two screens same time, but dam. Wii u rocks. Its awsome to play old snes games on high quality hdmi output and its just oozing with niceness. I rly hope nx doesnt come for earliest late 2017. Wii u would have so much to offer still
I don't know why there are so many negative comments .. I, for one, found this very interesting and I'm buying this day one :)
i have no damn clue why people are so hateful of this game. I will be the first to admit I am hard on Nintendo, scrutinizing them for everything they do wrong... but I think the new SF looks great. I think the gameplay, the graphics and how it is reminiscent to the older SF games of the SNES and N64.. is all wonderful.
@isturbo1984: this new star fox game is better graphics than 64 version, but 64 version is still great game and was good graphics in that time, people just want to argue about wii u is not that good, which I disagree, wii u is good in graphics, this game better than some ps4 and Xbox game,
@isturbo1984: The graphics originally weren't that great, but with each video I can clearly see improvements in the environments (since that was visually the worst looking part of the game). Nintendo even hired Platinum to primarily work on the visuals so the game should look even better upon release.
Loving how the gameplay is looking so far also as well as the variety its offering.
