sonic seems to be.....subject to over imagintion with developers now....where are the old simple platform sonic games that made us all fall in love with the blue hedgehog?
what happened to sonic?....he's one of my favorite characters in gaming... unlike mario though... he didn't evolve well. I think it's SOnic Adventure's fault... i loved SA 1 and 2! i loved the attitude and plot, unfortuantly that doomed the series. every single console release after that kept that serious attidtude. SOnic heros was good, loved first one that was on the wii. the first wii sonic is the kind of attitude sonic should keep. Mario has no drama in any of his games and when there is, it's very light hearted
idk i always try to give sonic a chance after sonic adveture battle 2 and sonic unleashed i always hope that there is a developer out there that knows how cool sonic could be if they would just try to make a decent sonic game
THIS GAME LOOKS FREAKIN AWESOME!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! I think SEGA is on the "road to recovery". I AM SO HAPPY MAN! We got Sonic 4: Eps. 1 AND this?! this is too awesome...
ummmm... Okaaaaay? How about you guys just focus on one thing at a time, SEGA. You guys already got Sonic 4 ep. 1 coming out late 2010. So why not try to put forth some effort instead of just spamming games. As a Sonic fan, I'm tired of seeing crappy Sonic games being made w/ glitch-tastic production.
Well, however it's played, i hope this game make Sonic series come back, because even with me being a great sonic fan, Shadow the Hedgehog, Sonic the Hedgehog among others are awful sonic games, the best's still Sonic DX or Adventure
Sonic Colors (ソニック カラーズ, Sonikku Karāzu?), officially entitled Sonic Colours outside of Japan and North America, is an upcoming game for the Nintendo Wii console and Nintendo DS. It was first announced on May 26, 2010 in a press release by Sega for Italy, and included a teaser trailer. Unlike previous Nintendo-platform Sonic titles, the game is not part of the recent "storybook" series, though it will be developed by the same team responsible for that series. In Sonic Colors, players will use the power of the colored energy in order to traverse the environments. Examples given in the press release include the Yellow Drill to create new paths to explore, and the Cyan Laser to travel at even faster speeds. The Wii version of Sonic Colors will use a mixture of 2D and 3D perspectives, akin to Sonic Unleashed, while the Nintendo DS version will take advantage of the dual screens of the handheld
CANT WAIT till i play this game in the ds , coz it been a long time sens i play a game i cant stop playing it, but what does it mean late 2010 cant anyone answer me?
@FrozenFear judging just off this teaser how can you be so negative? Jebus, the Adventures on Dreamcast were actually pretty awesome, and some could argue Heroes wasn't too bad...judging just from that teaser and the announcement it seems like little aliens animals are replacing flickies from the "roots" of the franchise.
hopefully Sega/Sonic Team, Sonic Colors won't be another fail, I am still rooting for ya Sonic, you were my first game and I loved you then, Hopefully Sonic 4 and Sonic Colors will revive your tarnished rep, if not, then I am going to take down Sonic Team, and Sega for what they have done to my first Video games star.
So "Sonic 4" will be going back to Sonic's roots, but just to overshadow that, let's release another pile that nobody who wants a true Sonic game is going to like. Anybody else remember when the name "Sonic Team" actually meant a level of quality? Me either.
@Chopinist, there is no way the wii or ds has graphics this great. The graphics in this video are most likely not real-time. Interesting teaser tho! can't wait for more videos!
