Resident Evil 2 Remake: Demo's Ending Trailer (Spoilers)

Resident Evil 2 Remake's 1-Shot Demo gives you 30 minutes to complete it and unlock a special preview of what's to come when it launches for Xbox One, PlayStation 4, and PC on January 25.

Ahead of its official launch on January 25, Capcom is giving fans an opportunity to try Resident Evil 2's remake. However, in an interesting twist, those that download and play the demo will have just 30 minutes to play as much as possible. Once that set period expires, the demo will no longer be playable. For those that manage to complete it, there's an exclusive cinematic trailer to see, which means if you want to see the video, you'll need to avoid becoming a zombie snack and having to start over, but also play smart to get through the challenges the demo throws your way.

We recommend giving it a solid try, as having a time limit and working towards that reward ups the tension somewhat--we've also got some tips to help you make the most of it. However, if you've taken a shot and haven't been able to pull it off, we've got the cinematic for you to watch above. And it's definitely worth watching if you're a Resident Evil fan (unless you want to go in completely fresh, in which case get outta here), as a number of familiar faces make an appearance.

Alongside main characters Leon and Claire, and the already-revealed supporting cast of Ada Wong and Sherry Birkin, Hunk and Tofu also make an appearance, which is sure to delight series veterans. Check out the cinematic above, and if you want to put your money down for it in advance, have a look at our pre-order guide to see what extra goodies you can get.
