Red Dead Redemption 2 Online Beta Ends, Gets Full Launch - GS News Update

New story missions, activities, and more are now live in RDR2's online mode.

Red Dead Online launched a month after Red Dead Redemption 2 last fall, and it's finally leaving beta with a huge update. This includes new Land of Opportunities missions, which change based on whether you play as a do-gooder or an outlaw. Free Roam missions and dynamic events featuring characters from the main story are also included. Additionally, you can turn on the Offensive play style to freely attack other players, or choose Defensive and explore the world with no threat.

What's more, PS4 players can play the online mode without the need for PlayStation Plus until May 27. If you want to play beyond that time, good news: Sony is offering a PS Plus special offer for Red Dead Redemption 2 owners.
