Rage 2 Gameplay Looks Wild And Dirty - GameSpot Daily

A new Rage 2 trailer gives us a glimpse of the post-apocalypse on PS4, Xbox One, and PC, while the Operator Alibi has been revealed for Rainbow Six Siege.

Rage 2's official announcement came yesterday, and today, we got our first look at actual gameplay. The environment looks more varied than the first game, with green foliage mixed in with the brown post-apocalyptic desert, but the gun and vehicle combat are both back in full force. Even that crazy knife-boomerang/glaive thing is back.

Rage 2 is a collaboration between Rage 1 studio id Software and Just Cause 3 developer Avalanche Studios, and publisher Bethesda announced that it's coming to PS4, Xbox One, and PC in Spring 2019. Rage 2 headlines today's GameSpot Daily, but we've got a bunch of other stories ready to go in 30 minutes or less.

One of the new Operators for Tom Clancy's Rainbow Six Siege has been revealed, and it looks like she'll use holographic decoys to distract enemies. Her name is Alibi, and she's the first Defender of two for Operation Para Bellum. The last season added two Attackers, so naturally, this one will even things out. We'll learn more about the upcoming operation this weekend.

Mario Tennis Aces releases in late June, but we'll be able to play a bit of the game at the beginning of the month. A beta is slated for June 1-3 in the UK and will allow players to compete online and in single-player matches against AI with characters Mario, Peach, Yoshi, and Bowser. Dates and times are coming for North America and Australia at a later date. We talk all the details, including the new Adventure Mode trailer, in the video above.

Lastly, it looks like Microsoft will reveal a new type of controller soon, and it seems as if it's designed around accessibility needs. A leaked promotional image was found by Twitter user h0x0d, and while there aren't many details as of yet, we discuss everything we know in today's episode.

And that's what you'll find in this episode, but be sure to tune in every day of the week at 11 AM PST/2 PM EST/7 PM BST/4 AM AEST for another episode of GameSpot Daily. We cover the most exciting gaming news in 30 minutes or less or Bethesda's taking the guns out of Rage 2.
