Season 3 episode 2 of Preacher titled "Sonsabitches" follows Jesse as he plots to get his soul back from Herr Starr. That's right, Herr Starr is back and bloody as ever.
Jesse has to get the grail to angelville if he has any hope of escaping and getting his soul back. He has an ill conceived plan to get 1% of his soul back from Herr Starr in order to get his power working again, but it seems pretty unlikely that Herr Starr will go for it.
In other news, Cassidy and Jesse are still on the outs. Jesse told Cassidy that he can leave, but Cass won't do it without Tulip. Also, it looks like Cassidy has a Jesse shaped hole in his heart and is now trying to fill it with TC of all people; the drug induced friendship has lead to a strange sense of closeness with grandma.
