Well... I don't know what to say. Or maybe I do. This game didn't look all that interesting, though I'm starting to think it's the trailers fault. It might end up being another decent Overlord game with a funny story and above-average gameplay. @Ronnet and @Gelugon baat: Actually, a lot of those fairy tales were already dark and mature (at least somewhat) in their themes and plots, not to mention that there were variations of several stories. Usually, most of them were supposed to be folktales that taught important morals, virtues, and such. The ones that are popular and, thus, commercialized (Little Red Riding Hood, The Frog Prince, etc.) are usually told in a much lighter tone and not all fairy tales widely known (I actually grew up with big "Brothers Grimm Collection" type book with about a 100 stories in it, though I don't remember all of them).

However, a re-release of Overlord 1 onto the Wii is even cheaper, and reeks of greed upon the first whiff.

Yeah, making fairy tales darker is simply too cheap. American McGee's Alice was good because of the emotional and psychological damage that the "different" Alice has suffered. But simply throwing in a bad-tempered Overlord to mess up fairy tales is very, very cheap.

Why can't they just release Overlord 1 on the Wii? Or atleast a remake with the same setting? Overlord in a tolkien-like universe was a lot of fun because it's a setting you usually see in WRPG but suddenly everything is slightly twisted. We've all read of heared these fairy tales but making them darker isn't new and seeing this trailer the jokes don't even work.
