@chiefwiggum16: Wait a second, you can't compare RE to Outlast.

In RE, you have weapons, you can bully your way around.
You can defend yourself.
I never felt as desperate as I felt in Outlast playing RE7.

Re7 was awesome tho but it's a different ballpark.
The gameplay was better in RE but the "fear" in Outlast was better because all you had was that camera.

In Outlast what is nice is that it is a bit more "Twisted" and you really feel like a "victim" you can't use any force to fight back!
There's a hopelesness feel in Outlast that makes it worst!
Besides, Outlast did a better job on jumpscares than RE did.

I found RE7 to be a bit more "predictable".
Problem with Outlast was that the "infected" or whatever you wanna call them had a clear "path" they were patroling with no variation. Once you got to know it, it was easy to sneak around them... RE (especially in hard mode) had the ennemies more unpredictable and chasing you better.

I'm anxious to play Outlast 2.
I played the demo and it looks great!

@chiefwiggum16: this. Going back to boring ass hide n seek with a camera isnt what Im looking for anymore in a survival horror game after experiencing re7. Capcom nailed everything that made re/survival horro great with that game. Also you can see the quality difference between the masterpice that was re7 in every aspect compared to this stiff, clunky mess.
