Rockstar's upcoming Red Dead Redemption 2 is slated for October 26, but much like previous Rockstar Games' titles, it has seen its fair share of delays. However, Take-Two Interactive CEO Strauss Zelnick said back in February that the game won't get delayed again, and he reiterated that it's still slated to launch this October during a recent episode of Mad Money.
Red Dead Redemption 2 was previously delayed from this spring. We still haven't seen any gameplay footage, but Rockstar has said we'll learn more about the game, specifically its special editions, in June. This Wild Wild West romp is the headlining story for today's GameSpot Daily, but be sure to stay tuned, as we've got a bunch of other stories ready for you in 30 minutes or less.
If you're a PS4 player and jealous of the Xbox One's Elite controller, peripheral maker Scuf Gaming has an option you might be interested in. The $200 Scuf Vantage offers a bunch of features, including interchangeable thumbsticks and D-pad, four programmable back paddles, and a volume-adjusting touchbar. There's a lot more to this Elite-style controller, and we discuss all of the details in the video above.
Mario + Rabbids: Kingdom Battle was one of the Nintendo Switch's best games last year, and now it's about to introduce the King of Swing himself, Donkey Kong. The Donkey Kong Adventure Pack adds new characters and gameplay features. The DLC is also set on a new island, where you'll be able to experiment with the tactics of DK and Rabbid Cranky. There's no release date yet, but we've got everything you need to know about the upcoming DLC in today's episode.
Lastly, the monthly NPD report for April was released, and it revealed that the PS4 outsold both the Xbox One and Nintendo Switch last month. The PS4 also broke a record for the most April software sales on a dollar basis, thanks to games like God of War, Far Cry 5, and MLB The Show 18--the record was previously held by the Xbox 360 in April 2008. We've also got the top 20 best-selling games of the month, and we run down all of them.
