Nintendo Switch Is Finally Getting Monster Hunter In The West - GameSpot Daily

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate is bringing the 3DS game to Nintendo Switch with new stuff, while Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy comes to Xbox One, PC, and Switch earlier than expected.

Monster Hunter World launched on PS4 and Xbox One to a lot of fanfare, but Capcom made it pretty clear that it likely won't come to the Switch. However, that doesn't mean the series won't make its way to Nintendo's hybrid platform. The Ultimate edition of Monster Hunter Generations will introduce even more monsters and deviants, in addition to new hunting styles and G Rank Hunts.

Monster Hunter Generations Ultimate comes to the Switch this summer and will feature both local and online multiplayer. The Ultimate edition is basically a localized version of Monster Hunter XX, which has been available on the Switch in Japan since last summer. We've got the release date and more details in today's GameSpot Daily, but we've also got a bunch of other news ready to go in 30 minutes or less.

Walmart Canada never has my favourite peanut butter in stock, and now it's possibly leaked a bunch of games. That dang store can't get anything right! One of those games was a sequel to Rage, but publisher Bethesda seems to be taking it pretty well. The official Rage Twitter account sent a joke tweet, providing Walmart Canada with some tips on how to make the placeholder box art better. It then switched its profile picture and header to that same image. This doesn't confirm anything, but it is an unusual response. We run down the rest of the possibly leaked games (including Splinter Cell, Borderlands 3, and more) in the video above.

Crash Bandicoot N. Sane Trilogy is coming to Xbox One, Switch, and PC earlier than expected. The game was originally slated to release on July 10, but it's now been moved up to June 29. That's nearly two weeks early.

And last but not least, PUBG is bringing back its Savage map tonight. It was recently renamed Sahnok, and with the next round of testing, we'll see a bunch of new areas and map changes. There are also a bunch of other changes, so be sure to watch today's episode to get a full rundown.

That's what you'll find in this episode, but be sure to tune in every day of the week at 11 AM PST/2 PM EST/7 PM BST/4 AM AEST for another episode of GameSpot Daily. We cover the most exciting gaming news in 30 minutes or less or Capcom will change its mind about bringing Monster Hunter to the Switch.
