Mindhunter Season 2 Review, Breakdown, And Ending Explained

Season 2 of Netflix Original Series Mindhunter is even better than the first. Greg and Lucy give a detailed review of David Fincher’s true crime series, separating fact from fiction when it comes to real life serial killers like BTK, and theorize where the show could go next.

Netflix's Mindhunter, the show that's part true crime, part historical fiction, all addictive binge-worthy television, has returned to the streaming platform with a second season that's just as mesmerizing as the first. Watch above for GameSpot Universe's full Mindhunter Season 2 breakdown, ending explained, and review--but watch out for spoilers, if you haven't watched the new season already.

In GameSpot.com's written Mindhunter Season 2 review, Meg Downey wrote that "the critically acclaimed show returns without even a whiff of a sophomore slump."

"Mindhunter Season 2 is a home run for the crime thriller genre that manages to juggle fictionalized drama with bleakly real historical anecdotes, shot with a clear (and methodically precise) vision that keeps the entire thing cohesive and engaging," our review continues. "By the end of the nine episodes, the bleak, left-in-the-lurch lack of satisfaction that crops up again and again feels more like a feature than a bug."
