Microsoft Unveils Game Streaming, Testing To Begin Next Year - GS News Update

Microsoft is using its Azure framework to let you play games anywhere, even on smart devices, with an Xbox One controller.

Microsoft talked briefly about game streaming at E3, but now the company has officially announced its plans. Project X-Cloud aims to stream console-quality games to PC, consoles, and smartphones and will roll out public trials in 2019. Microsoft detailed in its announcement that players will be able to use an Xbox One controller with supported devices.
