metal gears solid rising look gr8 but the thing i hate about this game is ...where is snake :P....where the sneaky stuff? what is "metal gear solid" on this game ?(and i say it again this game look pretty fun but the gameplay does not look like to be metal gears gameplay)i just hope the game will be long like normal metal gears game

Get a life... microsoft dont care one bit about your private life.. Any camera connected to a modern pc or console can be used this way... and in fact y can be pretty damn sure that everybody is checking out Microsoft really close. But other vendors on surveilance/chat/web-cam software using your average web-cam could easily bee transmitting views of your nice inventory to unsavoury persons or organisations. Get of Ms's back and get real..

Don't get a kinect it is microsoft's and the us government's way of spying on you with video and audio in every house. thats why they're releasing it as a tool for windows 7. They just want a bunch of fit soilders for world war 3. I'm going to get one and put a picture of a penis on the camera because thats what they deserve. just kidding lol. it looks fun!

microsoft is really showing its japanese face in japan ... but japan is one seriously tough nut to crack. Besides, lets face it, you can't fault them for supporting japanese games over american ones, they're simply better quality.

i think ill get the kinect (maybe, it looks good though) because of all the good looking games i have seen

Honestly at least they told us about the hardcore games from Japan for Kinect. Steel Battalion was a total shock to me, but a major reason I'm getting it is for that game in particular. But honestly we need more exclusive stuff from Japan, and trust me Kinect is going to be huge in both Europe, and Japan respectivly we own the US right now, and currently thanks to the Xbox360 S launch that has been smoother then past launches for Microsoft as of right now. RPGs have shown they don't have the fanbase we thought they did in Japan if the game is not good. Lost planet Proved that there is a large market for Japanese shooters hence why they less RPGs, and more shooters this year, there has also always been a great market for fighting games in Japan as well, Microsoft is going to take it's new found hardware skills, and show big headed people like Nintendo, and Sony that a US company can make it big in Japan, hence the new logo style for Xbox360, and the new model thats smaller, and sleeker, plus the enhancements. I was reading an article by the NPD that while Xbox360 sales are not the best in Japan, but they have thanks to Kinect, and the new Japanese support for the platform spiked quite a bit as of late. Microsoft is just going to capitalize on that fact now and make a massive push to get Japanese developers on the Xbox360 again like Sony has always had. They will also announce next year some big games for Xbox360 to back up Gears of War 3, XCOM, as well as others.

I was there and saw Kinect played live in a real settings: trust me, this thing is going to be big and can even wipe the Wii out of the scene... @Roronoa_ZoroHUN: Your point 4 is definitely going to happen. I saw the best volleyball game ever... Points 3 and 5 are surely going to happen too, at least in Japan ;)

God bless Capcom for being the only goddamn Japanese developer who gets it. I was extremely delighted to hear a Japanese developer admit that the Japanese game industry needs to step it up, because the rest of the world is continuing to lose interest... I have not bought a (non Capcom) Japanese-developed game in ages (I don't own a Wii, but I'm rather okay with that)... not even a Square-enix game. It's just sad because 4 out of 5 of my top favorite games have been Japanese developed. Now they're hardly even worth a rent.

I swear i hear Sensui said Namco when he was announcing the trailer for Steel Battlalion, but i might hear it wrong

it is really great to have xbox 360 to focus on japan in the keynote of tgs 2010, i think kinect can "help" japan's xbox 360 fanbase, but you got fire pro wrestling on xbla with avatrs, cool, and treasure's "lost" classic finally coming to north america along to the world. great going Microsoft, it looks TGS is going good, but it least it might need to go back to october next year.

M$ showed a lot of exclusive titles during their keynote. I never said which titles were exclusive and which weren't. There was no need to, as the keynote told us.

Haunt,project Drago, codename D and radiant silvergun all look like interesting japanese games i also want to try out. as for fire pro wrestling i'm gonna honestly say i've heard of them but never played any of the games in the series so i might just give the 360 game a try as well.

Could put my self into any game by a pic or a full 3D model of my self, and not just for rpg's but for fps games as well.. 2. Solving the rts problem on consols for ever! (using my hands/fingers as a cursor) 3. Making the best hentai/sex games ever! 4. Making the best sport games ever! 5. Virtual pets or girlfrends even! Think about it, a virtual girlfrend who wont take your money, who wont talk cr*p, who will do what ever you ask. The dream of every nerd or for every normal guy as well! 6. No more controller problems like: sensitiviti problems, batterys, etc. 7. Creating, gamer created contents or even gamer created games more easely! If only one of these would come true than it would have some meaning, if not, than kinect is just a junk.

The Kinect is definitely NOT the Eyetoy, the Eyetoy was a joke back even back when it came out, and believe it or not, it's been done far before that too. The kinect is a much more advanced version of the person/camera/console .. thing. Even still.. Kinect and PSMove are still sad gimmicks trying to profit off of Wii's downgrade to motion control for their "wider audience", although I'd say Kinect is the more original and useful of the gimmicks. I'm sure not paying for any of that crap, my mom got a Nintendo Wii and that thing's been collecting dust since SmashBros last game.

comparing kinect to eyetoy is just foolish........ but i still hate motion controls down with wii motion + kinect + move!.
