the new trailers look sick. i bet the reason that people are saying its repetitive is cause the guy playing is just zapping but in the new trailers you can see more combos and back flips and all that jazz.

The player needs a better facial and the power getting drained in some points, not cool. They should make the power intacted with the prayer some where in the middle section of the game. Otherwise, i am a fan of this game.

This game is going to fail. I'm sorry but this is the most repetitive gameplay i've ever seen. The guy just walks around with his hand in front of him shooting the same wave of electricity over and over and over AGAIN! 7.5 at most.

This looks so good! I hope I have enough money to preorder... I'm on a tight budget at the moment :(

Other video's I have seen have been very vague, and haven't showed much. I've been very skeptical about this game until... THIS. This video is just plain, awesome. And if that music is in the game, I'm buying it FO SHO. Nate Fox seems like a great director too. Very casual, but something about him makes him sound very truthful. I like how he admitted the Warren is much better and that they spent more time on it... it shows he knows whats good and bad, and not afraid to admit flaws. I don't think I've ever played any of Sucker Punch's games before, but if this guys directing it then I'm sure I can trust that games coming from them are going to be excellent. I also noted how graphics look much better in this than other videos. Animations look superb and overall detail and enviroment look so much better... possibly something to do with the darkness of the level? And last but not least - I finally know who the bad guys are. In every video, they've been killing hooded guys, normal foes, that have had no background information and showed nothing remotely interesting. Fox explains who they are, what they are, and the gameplay in this vid really show off the different variations of enemies. This has convinced me to buy this game.

eliminating the HUD is a great thing for this kind of game, anyway how do you aim with this game? it resembles prototype, the object manipulation reminds of the gravity gun from HL2. worth checking, but prototype is cooler, just my 2cents.

Oh yeah, sorry for the double post, but, also look at the "baddies" when they are zapped. Doesn't it seem like they did a really good job on the "electrocution" animations?

You can't particularly compare this to Prototype, it's different. The only things that share similarities are the parkour elements of each game. Even that really cannot be compared, as in Prototype, you are like a war machine who can sprint faster than cars and can glide through the air dodging helicopters. This game you start out as a normal guy who already can navigate vertically and such. So, watch him as he runs around, it actually looks nicely polished.

Graphics are awesome though...and the character models...especially the mutant enemies..they look AWEsome...still, I don't know about the gameplay..

i dont wanna start a fanboy fude but prototype looks much better and im not biast i own and love both consoles... the 2 games look simular but prototype has it over this...

...still isn't grabbing me. Despite what they've said this game still looks like your a kid with a taser gun. With any super game there needs to be a fair amount of time where you feel in control and it feels good and times where you just run for your life. Did anyone see the latest episode of Heroes which came out two days ago??? Everyone with powers was being captured but when they tried to capture Sylar, they were no match as he threw them all over the place. THAT is what this game should be.

Is it just me or does it seem to take a while to kill someone with the standard electricity?

AWESOME!!! I will def keep my eyes on Infamous! The main character reminds me off Genchi Himano aka "The Thunder Emperor" of May city from the anime Get Backers! :D I love electric powers... i kinda like the approach they are taking going for a comic book feel, powers to not only attack but defend, Gang wars, different modifications to the power, gameplay mechanics, etc 3:12 TRUMP CARD! Thunder Storm! :D :D :D I love my PS3! Juicy!!! :D
