Hitman Vs. Dishonored | Versus

Hitman 2 is on the way later this year, so we thought we'd pit Agent 47 against another great stealth series, Dishonored, to see which is best. New episodes of Versus every Wednesday!

Hitman and Dishonored may, at first glance, seem quite different games, but they have a surprising amount in common. They both emphasize the power of player choice, they both have something of a focus on stealth mechanics, and they both give you a sandbox and a bunch of tools with which you can have fun taking down your target. With Hitman 2 on the way later this year, we got thinking about Agent 47's long-running stealth series and whether it's better or worse than the (relatively) newer stealth challenger, Dishonored.

We decided to sit down and have a lighthearted but passionate debate about which series we prefer. Fighting for Hitman, and all things bald, is trained assassin Oscar Dayus. On Dishonored's chaotic side, meanwhile, is Lucy James, who actually spends a lot of time perched on chandeliers watching unsuspecting targets.

Watch the video above to see how the debate turned out. The discussion begins with randomly selected topics, and the pair argue in support of their respective picks. Alongside the serious analysis from each side, there's also some friendly fun-making and jokes at each other's expense. Be sure to watch till the end to see the quickfire round, which gets a little goofy.

Last week we discussed whether loot boxes were all that bad, and Oscar came out on top over Will Potter, with the audience deciding that, yes, loot boxes are quite bad. Check back next week for another episode of Versus; new episodes drop every Wednesday at 6 AM PT / 9 AM ET / 2 PM BST / 11 PM AET on GameSpot.com and YouTube.
