Here's Madden NFL 19 PC Gameplay--The Franchise's First In A Decade

After 11 years, Madden NFL finally returns to the PC. Here's over 30 minutes of PC gameplay for Madden NFL 19, with both the Cleveland Browns and the New York Giants facing off.

Madden 19 plans to continue the series' long tradition of balancing high-stakes grid-iron gameplay along with the careful decision-making required to make a memorable NFL franchise. However, the next installment in the series will also be breaking a noteworthy streak that began over a decade ago. Revealed at this year's EA Play, Madden NFL 19 will bring the series back to the PC for the first time in 11 years, which launches alongside the PS4 and Xbox One versions of the game.

We recently had the chance to play through several modes of the upcoming PC release, which you can see some of in the above video featuring a match between the Cleveland Browns and New York Giants. Offering fully customizable controls and visuals, Madden NFL 19 will be playable with both a mouse and keyboard setup in addition to a gamepad. While you can direct plays and select your options with the keys, you can control player movement with the mouse, functioning like an analog stick when holding down the left-click button.

Along with FIFA 19, NBA Live 19, and NHL 19, Madden 19 will see several visual and physics upgrades compared to their predecessors. Referred to as Real Player Motion, general movement, locomotion, and performance are all given a greater level of detail. These upgrades will alter some of the ways you coordinate and pull off plays and actions in-game, allowing for a greater feeling of impact and finesse when performing your hard-hitting and agile moves. Veteran players can expect to see the return of many features found from past games, which includes the Franchise and Madden Ultimate Team modes, along with the next installment of the Longshot single-player narrative.

For more info on Madden NFL 19, and EA many other sports titles coming this year, be sure to check back with GameSpot as we share more details and videos for each game. Madden NFL 19 is set for release on August 10 for PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and of course PC.
