I'm so glad i canceled my xbone a week before launch ( 24 games and not one i wanted) to spend about three times as much building a pc gameing rig that always plays at 1080p at 60 fps.

@suppaphly42 Keep in mind that the 60fps limit on monitor refresh rates is due to an old design of CRT monitors that triggered screen refreshes by the fluctuations in the power grid (namely 60Hz). The design just stuck around when everything became digital.

But this year, some partners with NVidia (ASUS comes to mind) are releasing some special monitors that break free of that limit and refresh whenever the GPU spits out a new frame. Save a bit and get a new GSync monitor if you can :).

Love the concept, hate that it's Nvidia because it means this tech is not available to us AMD gfx card owners. :(


I wish there was always a third party who developed these technologies into a standard so we could all access it.

*Frame rate and resolutions about Metal Gear Solid: Ground Zeroes: Another reason to feel good about about buying the PS4 version. Another good reason to feel good about buying a PS4.

That's positive thinking.

The game developers just shouldn't make make multi-plat games for the XBox One. They should put all their resources into making the PS4 the best it can be. The opposite of last generation. That might be cruel but is more convenient for everyone.


*Buying games digitally cheaper than buying them used. GREAT IDEA!!! The game developers and gamer's both win, especially the gamer. I bet everyone will be scratching their head wondering why they didn't think of it earlier.


*PokE has the twitchy. I'm not into it. I'm happy for those who are.

@rupti Sadly, I'm starting to get used to it. It seems that every day there is at least one story about Xbox One vs. PS4 and the rest aren't too interesting as well, although I liked the Pokémon one. Wouldn't it be nice if we got some big game announcements like Fallout 4 or a good Hitman game?
