antichamber looks like the best one, although i hope it has an easy start, or it'll be impossible to understand... but im waiting for natural selection 2 just because it's the only FPS\RTS hybrid except Savage and battleswarm-field of honour (which was shut down due to a low playerbase)
aaand "drunken robot pornography" looks interesting (though repetitious if you only have one gun),
@elitmer_basic just what i was thinking, i loved Die by the Sword. never had a pc powerful to run it back then lol. But as soon as this guy said about controlling the sword with your mouse, the game that popped in my head was Die by The Sword. And well Aliens vs Predator will always be Aliens vs Predator :-)
When I played Chivalry it was called Die By the Sword. When I played Natural Selection it was called Aliens vs. Predator.
They all look great good time to be a pc gamer with so many promising indie games coming out. Looking forward to Natural selection 2,Anti Chamber, and Chivalry the most.
These all look great. Cheers GS for the nice clean mash up.
ns2: aliens - their eyes arent there, it's more like a 3rd person view from in the mouth :). applies to 2 of 5 lifeforms - that view point makes the most sense for targeting melee based on a bite attack (or spit in the other case). becomes non-issue when playing.
I want to play all of these
The aliens in Natural Selection 2 have their eyes in their mouth!?
The second game looks like Mount & Blade
at first, that game, my eyes they scream in agony XD but it was pretty neat.
there is also a new rpg in the terraria 2d type market called starbound its still in development but its looking good so far
@vihazur Quite a few released and in development, in many RPG sub-genres. ARPG's like Terrarria to TB Dungeon Crawls like Frayed Knights and RT Dungeon Crawls like Legend of Grimrock to Isometric TB like Age of Decadence, lots of Roguelikes out there too, and a couple faux JRPG's like Cthulhu Saves the World...
demm...when the vids start...my eyes hurtss~!!ALOTTT~!!..wth game is that?...o,o" FPS games that u have to live in the dog mouth is fun~...xD
@vihazur Yes, and there are many.
I love indie developers, they always seem to bring something fresh to the table.
Do indie devs ever do RPGs?
Wow these games make most developers who have staff more then 60+ look terrible and shameful. these games are testament that you don't need ea to make good game. This is innovation, i will never have respect for developers who don't fall back to their roots. That first game that had crazy visuals. that was guy who endorsed that game all by him self. worked hard on titled project and guess what? he was only 1 guy, not 60+ or god knows what just a man with a passion.
natural selection is Alien vs Predator plus Savage :) cool Aliens FTW! lol...
@ sodiumpentathol Actually the game has more than arena fight. There's sieges, battlefields, village raids, etc. There is however no mount. Mount and balde is great even on foot but the mounts add a lot too. Also, it is my opinion that for melee combat, a 3rd person view is probably always best. Lastly, i don't think there's ranged weapons in this game. Though it's probably best this way if there's no mounts...
How is Path of Exile not on this lol.
@sodiumpentathol Antichamber looked bad to you? And Natural Selection 2? Are you high?
They look incredible, for the devs of every game... please open pre-orders or alpha fundings! The only one that haves that option is Natural Selection II.
What a bunch of crap. Only Chivalry: Medieval Warfare looked okay but seems like the Arena fights from Mount & Blade; whereas in M&B that's just a small part of the entire game.
