Everything looks better except Tidus' eyes. What happened? In HD they look way less sexy. Too round

Now it looks like they used the "normal" one (left), and blurred it (right) =P

The HD version looks really nice...if only I had a PS3...

I can't manage to watch the video at all. Disabled the adblock, restarted everything, nothing. This is the first time I try after the Flash update.

PS: At least I managed to synch my avatar, finally!!

It's going to be a great excuse to go back and replay an old favorite again.

Some people don't see too many differences simply because FF X was looking fantastic already as it was at SD resolution. ^_^

umm doesnt look much improved, just some antialiasing. still gonna get this probably though

Upscaled resolution, slightly better textures. I think the only real reason to get this, is to be able to play it on a more recent console. They should've made it for the next-gen (current-gen?) instead, and made some real improvements all around.

The graphics in the HD version look a lot better. The models definitely have a higher polygon count. One way to tell is that the eye socket and eyeball are actually modeled instead of textured on like in the PS2 version. Also, more polygons in the hair strands allows the hair to move more naturally. Even though an emulator can up the resolution, it can't increase the poly count or texture quality. At the time, the texture maps of PS2 games were 64x64, 32x32, or 8x8 due to the memory constraints. The emulator only upscales the texture, but it can't give it more detail. A lot of the clothing was textured on in the PS2 version (belts, chains, buttons, etc.) and are modeled on in the HD version.

Okay, am I crazy? Or does the original look better than the remaster in every shot? That is a pathetic job they've done here. I know it won't come with an option to use the original graphics, but I wish it would.

Thank God the remasters are going to be the International versions of the games. Otherwise, I wouldn't even bother with this.

after all these years, FFX's sound track are still so legendary. good time back then.

Their faces looked better with the ps2 graphics, but I approve of everything else minus the laziness of them not updating the X-2 music.

A buddy showed me FFX with pcsx2 and well.... that makes the HD remake look like garbage. I was hoping for better lighting effects or something. But this looks like a upscaler would have worked just as well.

Old news, PC can play the HDX remake ala 4k on PCSX2.

I absolutely loved FFX on the PS2, but I have no interest in buying the HD version. I typically don't play RPGs because of pretty visuals.
