Its not about specific game score ... Is about overall scores from Tom mc Shea. He even went that far to give Bioshock Infinite a 4 ... Not 6-7 or 8.. but 4.


This guy is out his mind and i cant take him serious

That's true enough. Tom is a decent enough writer and editor in his reviews. But do you remember that spoiler cast he did for TLoU that came out after his review? He did not articulate his case very well in that debate forum. Good writing skills doesn't equate to good debate skills, I guess.

Rented this and came to the conclusion that what little game play there is isn't very good and that if the story was actually made into a movie, at best it would be a SyFy movie that wasn't edited and went on for waaaay too long. Yeah, I realize now this genre isn't for me.

QTE games are created for the casual gamer, so I can see this getting a high review from the casual gamers at gspot. Seems like quantic dream can only make QTE games and tech demo's. Well at least we know what Ryse will be like on the Xbone.

@kutulu1 A) Quantic Dream isn't making Ryse. B) Ryse isn't a QTE game, it's a game that has OPTIONAL QTEs in it - not the same as God of War with mandatory QTEs.

@rawkstar007 Hahahaha, I definitely agree on Bioshock Infinite. I mean, I AM one of the guy who think that BS Infinite was overrated and its issues were widely overlooked (story, characters, combat, interactivity,...) but a 4/10? Wow, that's just the reaction of a pissed child because Infinity is not as good as the beloved Bioshock. It's like: hey, HL 2 is not THAT good as HL, so **** it! Let's give it a 4/10 because I'm pissed..... xD

@LordCrash88 There really weren't combat issues in BSI. Anyone who cries about the combat is bad at games - the combat sequences were almost always too short to bring any "flaws" to light. Literally the only point in that game at which the combat felt annoying was when you had to skyhook onto an airship and you didn't figure that out at first.

Very simple fix to adblock and adblock plus users with chrome. I think they work pretty much the same, I use adblock plus. But anyway, just simpley remove adblock plus or adblock from your chrome apps and then re-add (re-install) them from the chrome app store. And vuala, No More Commercials!!! Just straight to the video again : P

Can't wait to play, people are saying that is similar to Heavy Rain, then I'm in. Heavy Rain was one of the best games from this current gen IMO.

Yup - videos won't work unless you exclude Gamespot in the permissions list for Adblock.

@ecurl143 This and other GS videos have been playing fine for me. I'm on chrome and using AdBlock and I never had to touch/fix anything. AB says its blocking 3 things on this page right now.

@69 @ecurl143 Yeah, I'm using chrome with adblock but I've had to allow the ads to view videos.

I've heard tons of other people having the same problem, so it's not an isolated example.

It just seems to be hit and miss, so if you've got away with it, consider yourself lucky at this point.

Dunno what I need to do though to reactivate it though but it can be a pain in the arse.

@uglypinkmoose 4.0 is beyond ridiculous. Read GameSpots explicit descriptions of their reviewing system. 4.0 is reserved for a literally broken game. A game filled to the brim with glitches, incoherent gameplay, performance issues, horrible story, etc.

BioShock Infinite, nor 1 or 2, are any of those adjectives.

GameSpot does this horse shit - they claim to follow and use this rubric but then rate games with utter disregard to their own procedures the same way I would write a review on my site saying in depth how bad a game is, and then still give it a 7.

That's why it's completely fucking ridiculous, not to mention the game is a 7.75 at absolute worst.

And his redonk review of Bioshock wasn't even the one the site used it was only his personal opinion.

Bioshock Infinite has a 9.0 from this site officially.

I just don't think it's worth rioting over ignore it or go to another site
