Fantastic Beasts 2: Every Harry Potter Connection & Easter Egg

Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is chock full of Easter eggs and references to J.K. Rowling's Wizarding World. From Dumbledore and Nagini to the Mirror of Erised, here's everything we saw in the latest movie in the Harry Potter universe.

Although Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald is the second entry in a spin-off series, the movie features more than a few winks and nods to the wider Harry Potter mythos. Grindelwald himself is mentioned during the main Harry Potter series, and Fantastic Beasts has been created as a five-part series that explores why he was a noteworthy figure in the wizarding world.

Many of the seeds for that relevancy are planted in this movie and we've gone through to pick them out and explain what they grow into. In the video above Adam Mason, noted Harry Potter superfan and occasional inadvertent cosplayer of the Boy Who Lived, goes into detail on the most noteworthy Easter Eggs featured in Fantastic Beasts: The Crimes of Grindelwald. Give it a watch and your Harry Potter knowledge base will remain up-to-date and comprehensive.

Adam, proud member of Gryffindor and Butterbeer addict, also delves into some of the connections that the movie has to the story of Harry Potter, which is set to transpire years in the future. If you've seen the movie, you'll know there are some significant revelations, and Adam--noted friend to all House Elves--explains these, along with the implications that result from them.
