Even More PC Games Are Ditching Steam For The Epic Games Store - GS News Update

Epic exclusive contracts.

During GDC 2019, Epic announced multiple titles headed exclusively to the Epic Games Store. These include The Outer Worlds, Control, and Dauntless. This comes shortly after Quantic Dream announced that Heavy Rain, Beyond: Two Souls, and Detroit: Become Human would all have their PC debut on Epic's storefront.

I buy games on at least 12 different platforms for years now. I could care less about the sales of games on another platform. If Epic wants my money than they will have to offer the games at a price I am willing to pay. Period.

First and foremost you need to have USA dollars vs Canadian told on the screen its not that difficult , that way you see how games are comparable elsewhere

@rushabs:

i agree. i bought metro exodus on epic. it was advertised to be 49.98 , 10.00 cheaper than what steam was going to sell it for. then i was charged 68.00, 18.00 more than advertised. steam would have sold it for 60.00, as advertised in cdn dollars. thats 8.00 cheaper than epic. i felt it was deceiving, after reading that epic is selling metro exodus 10.00 cheaper than steam.not mentioning that they charge the exchange rate(about 10.00 - 12.00) with a conversion fee on top of the exchange.
