It's official. Microsoft just confirmed NO restrictions on Xbox One.

NO required online connection to check in
NO block on used games
NO block on lending games
NO block on reselling games

No blocks whatsoever.

Still not buying it...

They have exposed what they are.

I still believe them pulling the plug will be a lesson they will learn now and this is great for console gaming, we need no influences from these types of companies and I hope they have learned their lesson.

I still will never touch their product.

@Gamerhomer You fail to realize Sony had the exact same plan. Then come E3 they decided to dump them as they saw an oppertunity to increase pre-orders.

You're naive if you think one company is evil and the other good. It just means you've fallen victim of one's company marketing.

Microsoft doesn't want to lose customers so they did this. Sony wanted to win customers so they dropped it just before pre-orders opened up.

Businesses work this way. You should be mindful of that. Always.

@Zevvion @gokussj529 Microsoft will come out ahead, only because Sony Entertainment is bleeding money within the rest of their company. Sony might not be around a hell of a lot longer to begin with. Might want to keep that in mind before purchasing anything Sony related.

@gokussj529 I think Microsoft never expected this to be such a problem. They thought everyone wanted to be always on and so forth anyway and implementing that into their console would enable certain cool features.

But when the backlash against those restrictions was so enormous, Sony swooped in and uppercutted them in the face. Really smart of Sony and really dumb of Microsoft.

It just sounds like you are trying to soften up Microsoft idiotic ideas. yeah sony was trying to get more customers but Microsoft was being plain stupid.

@dussan2 Sony won E3 but only because they showed us the console and revealed that the system will will have less restrictions than the XBO.... Gaming wise, yes UbiSoft wins.... with EA second (Battle Front)

@Tygravius Seriously, at least switch up the commercials, Gamespot. I didn't mind when I saw another Terry Crews Old Spice periodically, but I did mind after seeing it 200000 times in the same evening.

* YAWN * If that was the best E3 had to offer I'd hate to see what else was there. With no strategy games and one RPG, it looks like those of us who don't like kids' games, shooters, or racing games are out of luck.
