" How ? "They already ready WON !
They need to show something different than 3rd-person action adventures.
Sony obviously has the big Exclusives advantage, if they would tease PS5 it would put Scorpio in a really tough spot.
Im very looking forward to Sonys E3, i lost count of their exclusives.
This is a question only Sony executives should be worrying about. Why is this on Gamespot?

1.Tease the future of ps5.
2. Drop All systems 50 bucks or offer a free game voucher with the purchase of their new Ps4 Pro or Gold.
3. Free Weekends for everyone, whether your subscribed or not.
4. Ps4 Rental Digital Game Rental
5. Big Exclusive Announcement. "BluePoint Games" possible Remake of Socom. Rumored
Sony is in such a great position right now, I think only the following is necessary:1. Play up the upcoming exclusives in any way that isn't completely boring and tone-deaf (i.e. do the OPPOSITE of the PS Pro reveal)2. Make an ambiguous reference to a "PS5" on the far horizon while leaving details murky; say you're busy planning revolutionary new tech for the next generation, and leave it at that.3. If you really wanna destroy the competition, just revert back to free basic online and keep PSPlus as an exclusive service.4. I wouldn't even both trying to address the Scorpio. Obviously, it's the most powerful system. It damn well should be coming out so far after the previous entries. I'd just say "We're sure MS is working on great stuff. We're focused on serving our playerbase an exceptional lineup in the coming year." That's really all they need to do. I'm kind of a whore for more powerful systems, but even I'll gladly take quality games over a beefy system any day of the week.
Only us gamers win. Yayyy for E3 and moar gamezzz.
I love and hate time around E3. On one hand, we get the excitement of hearing about new games, new consoles, new perks on each consoles, etc. On the other hand, we have to sift through the same horseshit that websites and forums post about "who will win?". Win what, exactly?? I own both an XB1 and a PS4, have a gaming rig, and my daughter has a Wii U. I am not biased in the least. I love gaming. I like the whole "healthy competition" between all the console developers because it pushes them to strive to make the best possible products for us, the consumer. I don't like when idiot authors of editorial pieces on random websites make it out to be some sort of battle for loyalty. It pits normal people against each other for absolutely no reason. I prefer my PS4. My brother in law prefers his XB1. According to all these "gaming news" outlets, we should be feuding like our last names were Montague and Capulet. No one wins in this scenario. Writers of these kinds of articles need to stop sensationalizing the whole "console wars" and start actually doing their jobs, which is reporting actual news of games.
@thejash07: well said and I came here to post something along the lines of "Win what, exactly??"
I don't mind conversations of "game of the show", "best shooter", "best rpg", etc but the topic of "which company won E3" seems assinine to me. Unless one company truly does something amazing and unexpected (hypothetical example: Microsoft announces the Scorpio is available now, is only $300 or less, can play Xbox games from any generation with 4k upscaled graphics, and Xbox live gold is now a free service) or a company does something completely dumb and catastrophic (example: Microsoft goes backwards and repeats their E3 from 2013) who cares who actually wins the show.
"Winning" a news conference is the dumbest **** ever. Competition is good, but this toxic console war needs to stop.
@straightcur: Console Wars have been around for about 30 years... they aren`t going anywhere.
@straightcur: they are basically, blatantly antagonizing the fanboys with these topics. Outside of fanboys how many gamers actually care who "wins" E3? I want to know about the most exciting new games, consoles, peripherals, hardware, etc coming out but conversations about which company "wins" the show is just pointless to me.
Just keep on track, showing more of announced games like GOW and TLOU 2 with 1 or 2 new IP slated for 2018 or 2019. Sony is doing just fine I wouldn't stray much and the only thing that can take them down is if they really push PSVR if you ask me. They may not "win" E3 but they have already won the generation so does it really matter?
@chiefwiggum16: another example for why winning the show is pointless. The concept of "winning" the show hasn't actually matter since 2013 when both companies were revealing new consoles that would be going head to head and they were vying for customers.
a new console from sony can wait for a bit. what is really needed from now is more exclusive good games.
@zura_janai: More good games!!! I dont care if they are exclusive or not. It wont affect my enjoyment of a game if someone else is enjoying it on another platform.
@straightcur: seriously. Who cares if they are exclusives or multiplatforms most gamers just want more good games. I guess if you only own one console you would want "your" console to get the best games but for the rest of us the more new games to get excited about the better. Same with consoles, hardware, and peripherals. I don't care if Microsoft announces/releases the next coolest and best thing in gaming or if Sony does, or Nintendo for that matter, anything that pushes the gaming industry in new and exciting directions benefits all gamers, not just fanboys of that company.
