I'll admit the game might be owkward for the first few flights but who ever is playing this is really bad. lol

Needs sound design (cheesy pew pews ?? lets get more kinetic ), but graphics are amazing... gameplay however, is still to be desired.
@Gears_0f_L0ve They stated that the sounds are placeholders thankfully, they are killing my ears, but I can't wait for better sounds. As for projectile rounds I hope they take some sound effects from how it sounds in an F-15/FA-18/etc when the M-61 is fired(beautiful sound along with the GAU-8, but that may be too much to wish for in this especially since much of what makes that weapon great sound wise will not be heard in space).

@Smosh150 @Gears_0f_L0ve Or even the a-10 warthog. That vulcan cannon has a nice little "Vooooooooooooop" when it fires.

@havanasammich There's a decent learning curve switching between the two flight modes and figuring out when the targeting computer will hit. It gets fun once you get good at killing.
@jhpiv4 @havanasammich Yea, a lot of videos of people playing the DFM do not utilize the decouple mode and spend 5-10 minutes hunting a single AI enemy down, however when using decouple it could be in the range of a few seconds to under 1-2 mins unless faced with a good pilot.
I'd never be able to play in cockpit view. There's just so much in the way.
@Auriken Its a space sim. If you're not doing cockpit view. You're doing it wrong.
Though the missile lock looked needlessly flashy.
@Auriken In some craft I will agree like the Aurora(cockpit is definitely not for combat scenarios), but with the Hornet and the 300i as well as a few others I believe it isn't bad at all, the thing about space combat is you rely more on your sensors to find enemies than anything else until you are in a situation facing craft that have stealth capabilities or highly advanced ECM suites in which you must rely on visual sight. To add it is just like any fighter sim, tbh I think it is harder to spot a plane that is using the terrain to blend in that it is finding a ship in space, mainly due to the fact that your sensors will eventually pick them up as it is impossible to be hidden from radar 100%.
@Auriken You sort of have to, the minimap and the HUD is only in first person as it's on your helmet. It's not that bad once you get used to it.
Hmm, my version doesn't look much like that. In fact, I end up walking sideways and can't even get into my ship. :P

@hitomo Pretty fun mod, though tbh I didn't care much for the combat in it compared to games like Freespace and the like.
For some reason it reminds me of Mass Effect. :D
