E3 2010 Stage Demo: Mortal Kombat

That is the Mortal Kombat I like, just like the old days, fun and fast. Fantastic graphics btw! Really looking forward to this!

My only issue with this demo, is that all the characters look almost too robotic. It's a problem I have with a lot of fighters. I don't know if it'd be possible to make movements flow more naturally in fighting games, but it's something I'd like to see.

@supereeego They're talking about how it's 2d in the aspect that you can only move left and right not like in 3d fighters where you can move in other directions too, not like 3D graphics that you need with glasses like you said Avatar and stuff.

u could do that tag team awesome crap in dead or alive 4 which was freaking awesome!! still one of my fav fighting games.

Looks awesome, don't know about the X-ray damage, as most of those injuries you wouldn't survive. They should just have it a little less brutal until the final round when the character's health is really low. Body damage awesome though, but should show physical weakness as well, e.g. limping etc.

It's not the 3D that destroyed MK games, it was that stupid gameplay and lack of fatalities that they put in the later games that ruined it.

why this is not for pc?

@supereeeGO games have been 3d ever since N64...even before that on sega cd.

I arent a fan of these beat em up style games, and have only owned one Mortal Kombat game. But this looks pretty good. Maybe a purchase... I'm still confused on all this 3D talk though :S

I don't get why games are going into 3d, is it because of that stupid movie avatar? 3d is so bad for your eyes, and it always gives me a headache.

I hope Kabal will be here ....Kabal in Armageddon sucks, but Kabal in 2D Mortal Kombat WAS DA MAN !!! bring him back PLZ !!! but with or without Kabal....it is just amazing........ i'm starting to save money for this game )))

Ed Boon is more of a figure head now, right? I mean he doesn't really have a whole lot to do with the making of the game... like a designer would be like, i'm going to put this in the game, i hope it doesn't piss off boon....

I have to say that I am very impress on what they have done. Definitely getting this one on day one, hope there won't be any hard achivement/trophy.

I am so freaking exited!!! I have always enjoyed MK games mk vs dc was so lame, but this video really shows ed going back to the basics for sure on his MK! I can't wait to learn all the finishing moves. I want to see who else is in the game... Goro? Noob? Quan Chi?? Kano? Ermac? I wonder if they will give everyone a second costume too??!?!?! 2011 needs to come fast. This makes me feel like a kid again!
