E3 2010 Stage Demo: Mortal Kombat

i say let this game take as long as it needs to get Proper work done. i would love for it to be a fluid fighter with plenty of characters and environments to go around the tag looks like it could be great i rly hope this game gets done right and revives the series boon said its the fastest MK yet i hope to c lots of combos in the game and very easily accessible multiplayer with lil to no lag(ok who am i kiddin with this one lol). imo the x-ray thing, even tho its a special, is a bit too strong.. personally i think its lookin good so far i am pleased to c it returnin to its roots cuz the DC crap was just that CRAP, n didnt do justice to the series at all imo heh is 25 characters asking for too much..

Great job to the Gamespot team. I couldn't be at ComicCon this year but these live stage shows made me feel like I was there. Thanks Gamespot and I hope you do ComicCon 2011 too. Kudos and thumbs up.

Man I can not wait for this game. This is what we've all been waiting for.

I do have to say however that the last fatality was pretty darn cool and I do love the old fashoned MK blood and guts. It was a gimmick but it was a really great gimmick!!!

This looks like a flat out remake of MK2. Don't get me wrong, that doesn't have to be a bad thing I loved MK2. The environments look pretty cool and the character models look pretty good but I have to say the animations aren't all that great. I expect a lot more out of character movement and a lot of this looks like it did in the mid 1990's. It's clear they have taken inspiration from SF4's success. I want to like this game but I'm not sold, not yet anyway.

I never played mortal kombat games because they didn't got me interested. I always preffered MvsC and SF.. However, this looks really awesome and I will definetly follow this game!

MK is a good game but i would not spend more than $10 on a fighting game because they get old very fast and too BORING after a while and most importantly there's no any kind of brain activity that actually one can use in these games, i mean you just smash the buttons to get some moves done to defeat your opponent. the concept of the fighting games is just so shallow and lame.. seriously i would not pay the same amount of money of fallout or RDR type of games for MK or any other fighting games. that's just how i see it!

Sektor`s fatality is awesome too although they don`t show it here, they showed it at E3. He dismembers the opposition and while the organs are in air he sends rockets to totally rip them

That was the first time a Fatality made me either cringe or say wow since MK2. I have high hopes for this one!

I only had two problems with the 3D games: the way the attacks seemed so slow, and the way combos felt. They've improved the speed dramatically, but I'm still nervous about the controls. It was annoying when, in some of the newer MK games, pressing a button once would actually hit the opponent twice. Little stuff like that made the gameplay obnoxious and actually quite restricting. I hope the new combat strikes a balance between the original games and a deeper system. Longest-Comment-Ever award goes to me.

i believe the MK song needs to updated, a lot of new characters have been added ever since.

If anything, players should be able to unlock characters by playing the game if they are not unlocked from the beginning. But nobody should be paying extra for MK characters.

I've played every MK game save for MK vs. DC, for sensible reasons I'm sure. Pretty excited about this.

Wow.. My faith is restored! What a great way to change up after MK vs DC! Kung Lao's Fatality was awesome! I wonder if there are multiple fatalities though... I hope so! Looks like MK is going to be another hit! Thanks for listening to the people Ed!
