Death Stranding - Chapter 3 Walkthrough (No Commentary)

Death Stranding drastically ramps up its mystery in Episode 3 as Sam continues to complete deliveries while connecting more than just stranded cities to the UCA. We reconnect a separated couple, learn more about Bridges, and discover a dark answer to the mystery of Fragile and the trauma she experienced with Higgs.

GameSpot's journey through Death Stranding continues in the complete walkthrough of Chapter 3. If you're following along in your own playthrough, hopefully you took our advice to beeline it through Chapter 2. Chapter 3 is where Death Stranding opens up and really starts coming into its own.

In the video above, we dive deeper into Death Stranding's mystery and continue to complete deliveries across a broken America. Our time in Chapter 3 introduces more characters and reveals their motivations. We reunite a separated couple and learn a bit more about Bridges backstory. Perhaps most notable: Chapter 3 provides the dark answer to the mystery behind the Fragile's trauma.

Still not sure if you want to play Death Stranding? Check out our review. In GameSpot's Death Stranding review, Kallie Plagge wrote, "Death Stranding is a hard game to absorb. There are many intertwining threads to its plot, and silly names, corny moments, and heavy exposition belie an otherwise very simple message. That comes through much more clearly in the game's more mundane moments, when you find a desperately-needed ladder left behind by another player or receive a letter from an NPC thanking you for your efforts. It's positive without ignoring pain; in fact, it argues in both its story and its gameplay that adversity itself is what makes things worth doing and life worth living. It's a game that requires patience, compassion, and love, and it's also one we really need right now."
