By the looks of the trailer it could be a more emotional call of duty, like modern warfare, and they have a writer from a critically acclaimed drama film. This could be good or, most likely, be a cash in like the other games after modern warfare. As for the multiplayer, I don't care because I stopped playing it after modern warfare 2.
oh yay another fucking COD game what a surprise WHO CARES show me some new games microsoft show what you can do with you new ugly console not show me the same fucking game with last gen graphics that you have released every year in the past 10 years whats the point of that hole conference where they only shows a ugly looking shoe box of a console and no new IP or new exclusive games yay to go MS
yeaahhh... its called E3 maybe you have heard of it, besides, did you actually watch the trailer or just come on here to bash COD because its the "cool" thing to do, the trailer was pretty dam impressive hey. Im not usually swayed that easy by shooters but it looks like a lot of effort may go into this
@strothers101 @guidu28 well i did watch the trailer and i do like the COD franchise but if you want to announce your next hardware do so by showing new games as well not the game that no one is suprised anymore with its release because they make a new one every year and i doubt it will be different from the other games
@strothers101 @guidu28 But you are swayed that easily
@Mamu-ti @guidu28 i wont just gonna buy the ps4 lol
Me to hehehe
They officially announced that Call Of Duty: Ghosts will not have multiplayer at launch. It will come later as paid DLC.
is true if you belive in Smurfs
This trailer is made with old engine because new is not finished yet so when game come out will be new engine and you all will be suprised hehehehehe.
I cant wait COD all the wayyyyyyyyyyyyyyy =)
@Mamu-ti Uhm, even if the graphics aren't polished, they didn't code the entire game in the old IW engine just to make a trailer.
graphics looks last gen.
Plot Twist: You play as the dog for the entire campaign. Health is gained from eating dog biscuits.
@nutcrackr I would play that! It would be better than what I just watched
Black Ops II's multiplayer was a huge disappointment, so I'm actually looking forward to this. IW CoD games always have better multiplayer.
@thereal-15-cent BO2 had bad multiplayer, are you kidding me?
@Skhuff @thereal-15-cent Badly balanced weapons, recycled maps, overpowered grenade launchers, (after MW3 had corrected this problem, which makes it even more annoying) horrible spawning.... Yes, it was very mediocre compared to MW3. You can also throw lag compensation into the mix.
@thereal-15-cent @Skhuff Please, don't even think about comparing it to MW3.
This is interesting.....
.... I think their main emphasis will be more on story rather than multiplayer...
@MN121MN The main story is always on story in COD games. But this doesn't mean they make shitty multiplayer.
@Skhuff @MN121MN Nor do I. I'm not saying MP's going to suck, just saying how I think they are really focusing on story now.
I have to admit, after COD having left a bad taste in my mouth for the past couple of years, this trailer seemed pretty interesting. Looked like a more a engaging story in an interesting setting rather than a "look how cool military hardware is!" showcase.
Then the dramatic music and explosions started......
Dont get me wrong, Im all for having action in an action game, but there are only so many times that we can "just barely" escape from an exploding building and still have it be exciting.
I can see it now "CoD: Canine Edition".
The graphics are still not... there.
never liked COD, but nice trailer
I don't get it, they add all those new features but forget about this http://goo.gl/IouoY
Hire a script writer for a game that 99% of the fanbase plays the single player once at most. Makes sense.
I think both this and BF4 look terrible. Fricken fanboys everywhere
great visuals, welcome to 2010 actvision
call of can't fight against bf4...the graphics and realism so pity
Nothing new to see here, move along..
People are acting like CoD already had set the benchmark for graphics, news flash kiddies, CoD hasn't had "good graphics" since MW2 came out. How hard are they stealing GHOST Recon here too... oooo CoD Ghosts... original. I hope you sheep flock to this game while the glorious PC master race just sits and laughs at all you evil spawns.
The graphics haven't been good since COD4
@NooDLES-666 You sound like an idiot... "PC Master Race"? You're a gamer like the rest of us. We are all sheep that flock to the games we like, whether it be BF4 or CoD: Ghosts. Stop acting like you're superior, because you are clearly no more superior to the next guy on the comments page.
seriously, who gives so much of a shit about graphics in a game like COD? if you can tell what your shooting at, it fine. Battlefield BC had kind of bad graphics and I though it was better than BF3. At this point, people are determined to hate COD no matter what, the funny thing is that a lot of them will buy the game just so they cant rant about how much they hate it and they wish the series would go away. surprise surprise, it wont
@stealthyninja81 yeah , kind of bad graphics in bfbc1 http://perbuatanmaksiat.files.wordpress.com/2009/06/battlefield-bad-company-20070905104907805.jpg
@leandrro @stealthyninja81 ok that was badly worded. compared to BF3, the character models and such we not as good. yes for the time BC had amazing graphic, I was just trying to say that despite it having worse graphics than BF3 it was better in some respects.
I'm no longer a console gamer, nor do I really enjoy CoD, but oh man I'm glad that consoles have finally reached Generation 8. Now developers will have the legroom they so desperately wanted to make multiplatform games that can fully take advantage of PCs since consoles won't hold them back (for a couple years at best, anyway).
Oh jeez this looks boring I rather play thief and destiny than this mundane game.
@mavramG1-180 Amazing how much you got out of a trailer without any gameplay in it.
how do you go to next gen, looking the exact same as the current gen?
@supa_badman Probably because they still have to market it to previous gen, still have the same artists, the same processes, the same base engine in place to support 60fps on 6 year old consoles.
@supa_badman Money and lots of beer :)
@supa_badman It's hard to tell for a number of reasons, though I can guarantee it is next gen. For one, video compression makes it nigh impossible to tell that it's next gen. Secondly, in the next gen we won't see the huge textural or graphical leap that occurred from Generation 6 to Generation 7, because it's less about hardware capability now than it is the ability and skill of programmers and artists to design realistic textures and lighting. This generation, the limits will be pushed elsewhere: In rendering distances and physics. And trust me, that's going to make games A LOT more satisfying and aesthetically pleasing than a leap in graphics will.
If you guys watched the reveal you probably face palmed as hard as I did when they tried to hype the game just by saying it's NOT a MW game or how good dogs look in the game :|.
if that is what we are to expect from next gen.... i am disappoint. im pretty sure there are current gen games that look better.
@Geminon Will repeat reply I wrote to another user:
