Call Of Duty: Black Ops 4 Battle Royale And Zombies Revealed - GameSpot Daily

Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 won't have a traditional single-player mode, but will have multiplayer, zombies, and a battle royale mode when it comes to PS4, Xbox One, and PC in October.

The big reveal event for Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 has come and gone, and now we know what to expect from the upcoming entry in the annual shooter series. The battle royale mode Blackout, three different Zombies experiences, and boots-on-the-ground multiplayer are the big takeaways, but there's more where those came from.

Black Ops 4 hits PS4, Xbox One, and PC, the latter of which will be available through Blizzard's Battle.net service. On top of all the multiplayer modes, there won't be a traditional single-player campaign; instead, Black Ops 4 features solo missions that star the various characters from the game's multiplayer mode. There are a bunch of other details, and we run through them all in today's GameSpot Daily. However, if you're not interested in Call of Duty, then we've got other stories coming at you in 30 minutes or less.

In other news about big games, a game "from one of 2K's biggest franchises" has been delayed. Parent company Take-Two Interactive announced the news in an earnings report, during which the company called it a "highly-anticipated title." It was originally scheduled for the current fiscal year (April 2018-March 2019) but is now coming sometime in fiscal year 2020 (April 2019-March 2020).

And now for something completely different. Microsoft officially announced the Xbox Adaptive Controller, which was designed for gamers with limited mobility. The accessibility-focused controller was designed in collaboration with several foundations including The AbleGamers Charity, The Cerebral Palsy Foundation, and more. It will support a bunch of different external inputs from third-party manufacturers to help more people enjoy games on the Xbox One. We talk all the details in the video above.
