Borderlands 3 FL4K Character Guide: Which Skills Should You Unlock First

So you're interested in playing as FL4K in Borderlands 3? We got you covered with the best tips to make the most out of their skills.

The lone wolf of the group, FL4K is designed for those looking for a solo experience in Borderlands 3. They are also ideal for long-range combat, only possessing a few close- to mid-range abilities. If you're thinking of playing as them, then watch the video above, where Jean-Luc Seipke and Aaron Sampson dive into their skill trees.

For a purely sniper-driven experience, invest in FL4K's Hunter tree. FL4K is armed with elemental Rakks they can throw from their pocket in this tree, and investing in Leave No Trace and Interplanetary Stalker transforms them into a sharpshooting master. For a more intimate approach, try FL4K's Stalker tree, which allows them to turn invisible with Fade Away and includes abilities and perks that increase FL4K's utility at close- and mid-range.

FL4K doesn't just have to invest in themselves either. Always accompanied by one of three computer-controlled pets, FL4K can increase their pets' usefulness with their Master tree. With skills like Ferocity and Go For The Eyes, FL4K's pets deal more damage. Make it all the way to the end of the tree, and you can use Dominance to temporarily transform any average enemy into your personal pet slave.

If shooting down enemies from the safety provided by distance or an invisibility cloak doesn't sound like a good fit for you, consider looking at one of our other Borderlands 3 character guides, which are listed below.
